This is my contribution to the world through the ink, paper and a little bit of controversy!
Political prisoners in the Evin prison and others will not see a haft seen this year.
I wonder what the jail administrator's haft seen looks like?

Sang marghad!
by Esfand Aashena on Tue Mar 15, 2011 10:23 AM PDTFor more information on sang marghad see here. Although that is the sang that they put "over" the dead not under! Legend has it that on the first night the dead thinks s/he is still alive so s/he tries to get up and the sang marghad is to hit his/her head so s/he knows that s/he is dead and should go back to sleep!
So this would make sense as the sang marghad can be that small.
Everything is sacred
maybe it's the 'sang' that
by hamsade ghadimi on Tue Mar 15, 2011 09:34 AM PDTmaybe it's the 'sang' that they put under the head of the dead when they bury him. i don't know if there's a special name for it other than 'sang.'
That sure is a mini sang ghabr! Maybe a note on what to write!

by Tavana on Tue Mar 15, 2011 09:07 AM PDTSpell "seen" correctly as "sin" then we all become "sinful" as the Evin's prison guard. Aren't we?
