I love dancing and I love Persian dancing in particular. I like to share its versatility and sophistication anytime I can. :)
I decided I would return to my Persian side with a more solemn number. It's in two parts:
Part 1:
Part 2:

by yolanda on Wed Jun 15, 2011 09:32 AM PDTI watched your video last nite.....the choreography does look like Tai chi sequence.....I even watched some Tai chi videos on you-tube last nite.....a lot of similarities!

Tai Chi
by KamranDanceTeacher on Wed Jun 15, 2011 09:22 AM PDTYou are close with the Kung Fu. I would say this is like Tai Chi or Chi Gung. Or Wut Du F*k.
Delkash, Iraj , Marzieh , Taj Esfahani
by jasonrobardas on Wed Jun 15, 2011 06:38 AM PDTThese are truly the legends of our music. Thanks kamran.....

It's great that you are into Iranian classics. But you have to pick up the pace with the dance young grasshopper!

You're welcome
by KamranDanceTeacher on Tue Jun 14, 2011 09:50 PM PDTIt was a pleasure. There is no way this can die. It is immensely powerful. I will make sure it doesn't. :D Thank you for your kind words.
I Love Delkash!
by Azarin Sadegh on Tue Jun 14, 2011 09:25 PM PDTAnd I am so happy that the new generation of Iranians (even half-Iranians) grasp the deep beauty of Delkash's music.
Watching you dancing to my favorite song of Delkash (that has always made me nostalgic of the good old days of my own "koodaki", already gone a long time ago) gave me hope that this music is not going to die...and I am very thankful to you for this hopeful prospect.
I'm an old soul
by KamranDanceTeacher on Tue Jun 14, 2011 08:50 PM PDTAnd I love Delkash. The song touched my soul. Thanks Delbari. I can't speak or write Farsi, but I am learning a few words here and there from an Iranian (half Russian) girl who I love. What does mashang mean?
Delbari
by پندارنیک on Tue Jun 14, 2011 08:01 PM PDTI am not an avid follower of your posts, and I know you appreciate the old fellow's honesty. Despite the huge generational gap between us I can easily connect to you for one, I have more than a dozen half irooni falf farangi second and third generation in my family and in that of my spouse. And then, I find you as mashang as myself, maybe to mask a wounded soul?.....
Keep it up son, and that's not a pejorative term...
I only wonder if you can speak, or even better, read and write Farsi?
LOL.......
by Soosan Khanoom on Tue Jun 14, 2011 07:53 PM PDTYour persian roots are not doing you any justice. Stick to the River dance !
Besides ......
Delkash , Golpa , Iraj , etc they are the most boring persian singers ever but not if you are an Iranian senior citizen .... the elderly especially the one here in IC love them ....
