Sweat!!!...

I find this poem very SWEAT, particlualry when it calls the Armenians and Jews as compatriotes. Sucking up again??? Maybe something is going to rub off on you from them???

Even during the Sassanian times we hear of Christian missionaries and Christian community in Iran.

DO WE HEAR ABOUT THE ZOROASTRIAN COMMUNITY OR MOBEDS IN THE BYZANTINE EMPIRE? Were they even allowed to practise there?

This open-mindedness business of Iranians particluarly abroad makes me sick. I hope it is just another instance of Iranian hypocrisy! Or maybe just common courtesy!

As for the Jews in Iran how many synagogues are in Tehran? The answer is in this recent Iranian.com videoclip:

Based on my experience only Persians, Azeris and Kurds who are originally from Iran really consider themselves as Iranians. The Jews and Armenians don't consider themselves Iranians!

If a Persian goes to a mosque in a Western country then he is subtly stereotyped and stigmatized! We all have to be 100% secular living abroad. The Western open-mindedness is just "shouted" from the top of their lungs in their big loudspeakers called the "media".

As for the Bahais although some of them have a strong Persian identity they nonetheless have a strong tendency to see Iran and IRI as one and the same and this makes them adopt a negative posture towards Iran in general!

The different tribes' costumes are gorgeous, way better than chadors! I hope they can keep their traditions and cultures!
