Please watch this video. The Pentagon has been working to shut down Wikileaks, the site which relased this video that exposes the murder of Iraqis. This is surgical. This is freedom.

Everyday, there will be another story that works to mentally ease and soothe the idea that we need to do this to the Iranians, and that this war is really worth it.

Human value has so little value anymore. We have about 70-85 years of natural life on earth. Why do we always look for ways to destroy it? Imagine the tax payer money it took to kill these photographers. Imagine the cures, jobs, books, the computers, the health care, and the teacher salaries that could have been supported by the cost it took to carry out just this account senseless killing.

This is real. These may just be a bunch of Arabs to some, but they symbolize the future Iranians who might be wandering neighborhoods. Iran might not be much to some, but it's home to many. I don't pray, but I hope we don't have war.

Here is the information associated with the video:

Wikileaks has obtained and decrypted this previously unreleased video footage from a US Apache helicopter in 2007. It shows Reuters journalist Namir Noor-Eldeen, driver Saeed Chmagh, and several others as the Apache shoots and kills them in a public square in Eastern Baghdad. They are apparently assumed to be insurgents. After the initial shooting, an unarmed group of adults and children in a minivan arrives on the scene and attempts to transport the wounded. They are fired upon as well. The official statement on this incident initially listed all adults as insurgents and claimed the US military did not know how the deaths ocurred. Wikileaks released this video with transcripts and a package of supporting documents on April 5th 2010 on //collateralmurder.com

He's a friggin moron.Bush destroyed the United States and ignored the biggest economic disaster and looting scam (go bailout!) just to waste our money on war and dictators. We're always liable for their mistakes. They're never liable. Thanks to people like you who make apologies and shore up fake accomplishments like "liberator." LOL. Well said, patriot! We all must expose IRI apologist, sympathizers and friends where ever we find them. They must all be exposed, just as former Nazis and their sympathizers have been getting exposed in the last 70 years.

Hezbollahi associates and friends must ALL be exposed for the tretcherous and disgusting vultures and rodents that they ALL are -- these parasites feed on the blood of innocents in Iran. They sexually violate our men and women and rape our national resources for their own perverted, non-Iranian causes.

Hezbollahis are today's Nazi party. In fact, if they had Hitler's military and economic might, they would be worse than the Nazis!

Hezbollahi Nazis and their stooges must be exposed for their crimes against humanity, for their savagery against the Iranian nation!

Beautifully said... Marge bleeds for Palestinians and Iraqis because they're victims of Israel and America. But you never hear one peep from Marge in protesting Russian crimes against the Chechnians (Muslims) or Chinese crimes against the people of Tibet, or Chinese crimes in the continent of Africa these days, which are prolific. You never hear about the crimes of the North Korean regime against its people. But Marge always bleeds for the poor Palestinains and the poor terrorists in Gitmo. All of these supposed victims have one thing in common, America. Her manufactured emotions in solidarity with these Iraqi victims are so superficial and hollow as to be laughable.

After all, we're talking about a notorious propagandist who draws from an empty tank of honor and shame.

I have to say that the men in this video, lunatics really, look far more sinister than the American boys in their Apache Helicopters. After all, these are the types that gang rape Iranian girls the night before they're to be executed.

Say what you want about American crimes in Iraq, or in Abu Gharib or Afghanistan (and none of it should be tolerated) -- in Iran, it's OUR OWN leaders (our own HOMEGROWN brutes) who're raping and killing us.

What I mean is this: in the American war in Iraq, there's a "foreign" element involved, but in our streets in Iran, it's our OUR OWN LEADERS, our own supposed BROTHERS AND FATHERS who're torturing, raping and murdering us. So, from my Iranian point of view, the IRI is far more sinister.

Onlyiran

Marge and her journey into hypocrisy

by Onlyiran on

Marge-- Let me first say that this video is gruesome and heart wrenching, especially when it comes to the two young victims.  The war in Iraq was wrong and it has resulted in the deaths of perhaps hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians.  The soldiers in this case acted with excessive force.  However, let's note two things.  First, it looks like you had made your mind before you posted this video.  But, accordong to the other "I have a Crush on Alex Trebek" (you know...the one that handles the IRI with kid gloves) that way of going about judging things is wrong.  As I recall a long, long time ago...well, actually only a few hours ago...this is what the "other Marge" had to say on the subject

This is interesting

by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on

But I don't know about "intentional drying up." We need more information. However, remember, we're dealing with Iran, where information about these issues is scarce to non-existent.

(here's the link.  You actually ask for an investigation twice on that thread:  //iranian.com/main/blog/khar/dying-lake-urmiah-sparks-protest)

That was when the discussion was about the IRI attacking Iranian civilians who were protesting the drying up of Lake Urumiyeh.  Of course, being that they were Iranian civilians, and not Iraqi or Palestinian civilians (whose lives and dignity are far more valuable than Iranians) we shouldn't really categorically condemn violence against them, but we should rather "investigate" it.  What do you say Marge, how about sending a fax to an IRI embassy asking for the "official" comment that we should all accept as fact? Ha? What do you say?

If you really want the facts about this incident in Iraq, like you so carefully demand when violence is committed against Iranians, you should know that American soldiers on the ground were taking direct and targeted fire from this particular area for more than four hours.  That is why the Apaches were called in.  And the helicopters, being that they were hovering above, mistook these individuals with the ones firing at the troops.  As you know, American helicopters do not go target shooting with civilians in Iraq for fun.  Something must have happened to trigger this confrontation.   Again, none of that justifies violence against civilians, but I'm just doing what you had demanded (albeit under "different" circumstances).  I'm "investigating" it.

Now we come to the second, and more important part.  It seems like you are on this site 24/7.  You spam every thread--especially anything that has anything to do with Israel / the U.S / sanctions, etc.  You have two blogs a day on this site. There were hundreds, if not thousands of videos of IRI's violence against the Iranian people, showing them kill, beat and commit all kinds of atrocities against Iranians.  Can you point us to even ONE comment that you left on any those threads showing your dislike (not even outrage--which you wear on your sleeves for Palestinians, Iraqis, Afghanis, etc.) of what was happening in our country?  What was that?  You didn't leave any comments?  Didn't think so...

Free

Marge, you're a shameless propagandist...

by Free on

There have been far more perverse videos than this, committed by the IRI during the aftermath of the fraudulent elections in June. This was a mistake -- a horrible mistake, one which you're milking it to advance your patently anti-American agenda. You're shameless! What is your agenda, besides protecting Iran from war?

To protect the IRI?

And before you accuse me of wanting WAR in Iran, which would only empower the IRI thugs, I will simply remind you of the video where a basiji truck intentionally RAN OVER a fallen pedestrian in the middle of the street in Iran during the protests in December! Now that was far more culpubale and heinous than this video, for the simple reason that it was an intentional act of murder of a civilian, whereas here, in this horrible video, by all accounts, the American soldiers truly believed that the men were carrying RPG's and "long weapons." This was a tragic mistake, not an intentional act of murder.

This is why we don't want war in Iran!

But to go from this tragic video to your knee-jerk America bashing is just pathetic! This sort of video is a "pretext" for people like you, Marge, because it serves your perverse and stale anti-America agenda -- to make America the big bad boogeyman (while you shamelessly give the IRI a pass at every turn)!

You never mention how the IRI sent TENS OF THOUSANDS of 10-year-old boys to walk on mines in the Iraq war, so that the mullahs could solidify their power in Tehran! You never mention how Stalin killed over 30 million people, most his own! You never mention how Mao killed over 50 million of his own people! Both leftist regimes, mind you! It's always America!!! And not just America, but the Right in America, the Bushs, the Chenyes and the Haliburtons!

Mind you, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, were all started by DEMOCRATIC presidents! Your shell game is so superficial and common, Marge, it's wholesale.

The Timing of this Video: Day After Easter

by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on

What amazes me is that the Christian Jihadist Neocons in the Media - darlings Michelle Malkin and Ann Coulter have already rushed to claim that this is fair and good, especially the part about shooting on the kids to teach them a lesson. Sick. I think Jesus Christ would PUKE at the sight of this. I really think that neo-con Christians believe that God and Jesus were American. I have news. Jesus looked like these journalists. He was a semite.

Remember what Bush said 48 hours before the invasion?

"We don't want to harm you, the people. We are interested in your leader Saddam and his sons only." LOL They're all dead and now they want you Iraqis. Leave your country if you want to stay safe. How dare you inhabit it.

Waste waste waste. Life is so wonderful. America has a lot of potential. It's too bad the defense contractors love to stand in the way of education, progress, and basic health care (which our vets don't really get a taste of unless they lose limbs).

by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on

This video isn't really shocking if you have followed this dumb wars on youtube. Our American soldiers, not all, have been putting their "stir frying" of Iraqis and Afghans on youtube for many years now.

They love to show us the comedy and the joke of war. There's one video of a helicopter using the thousands we shell out in tax dollars to watch a couple petting and kissing in a car in Baghdad with heat monitoring cameras. Yes. War is an expensive pasttime now. Definitely something to be proud of while other countries are advancing technology. American students/public rank the lowest when it comes to Maths and Sciences. Who cares? They can go fight dark skinned journalists who flaunt cameras underneath helicopters. That's an achievement to be proud of.

Any other government agency that flaunted the use of technology so wastefully would be cut off. It's time for the military to suffer the same. Contract money is not a free ATM. As citizens, we can only complain so much. I really think you should check out Paul Craig Roberts from the Reagan administration to learn about the Iraq war. He's a true Republican - meaning he has sense.

I have no problem with Republicans. I have a problem with neo-conservatives who believe that the USA is the world mall cops. I pay for education and a government that looks out for citizens. Instead, the US government has a well oiled revovling door between corporations and government agenices. This is why I adore Ron Paul. He truly loves the United States and sees the problems and potential. He was blackballed by his party in '08 on purpose, and they will try to do it again. Start the energy early for Ron Paul.

I think Mussolini called this fascism (when corporations run a government), but I have Hollywood, Starbucks, and Pat Robertson, so that can't be true.

what i think we have learned

by humanbeing on

is not about islam, as suggested by raoul, but about what happens when violent foreign interferences come in like a bull in a china shop upsetting very delicate balances they have no capacity to recognize or prognosticate in what they are deluded into thinking will be a quick fix, never learning from history that it always spirals out of their 'control'.

the best 'weapon' is to propagate the value for human life, no matter whose. this takes time, and actions like bombing countries ' besides the immediate inhumanity of it, will just perpetuate the devaluation of the human lives of others.

or have we learned?

Is "Islam the ONLY ideology with mandatory death for apostasy"

by MeyBokhor_Manbarbesuzan on

How about Judaism? Btw: The origin of the word Kafar comes from the jewish word kofer

Here is some Old testament for you:
Deuteronomy » Chapter 17
Penalties for Idolatry

17:2 [This is what you must do] when you discover a man or woman doing evil in the eyes of God your Lord in one of the settlements that God your Lord is giving you. [That person] will have violated [God's] covenant
17:3 by going and worshiping or bowing down to the sun, moon or other heavenly bodies, whose [worship] I prohibited.
17:4 When it is told to you, you must listen and carefully interrogate [the witnesses]. If the accusation is established to be true, and this revolting practice has been done in Israel,
17:5 you shall take that man or woman who did the wicked act out to your gates. You shall then pelt the man or woman to death with stones.
17:6 The accused shall be put to death only through the testimony of two or three witnesses. He shall not be put to death through the testimony of one witness.
17:7 The hand of the witness shall be against him first to put him to death, and only then shall the hand of all the other people [be set against him]. You shall thus rid yourselves of evil.

by Raoul1955 on

I do agree with Marge that starting a war on false pretenses is costing us billions every year in money, and thousands in lives.  It also overthrew a secular dictator who kept muslims in check and replaced it with an Islamic regime. What we have learned is that it is impossible to establish a pluralistic democracy in muslim nations.

I disagree with Marge in her assertion that the war encourages 'extremism.'  Islam is inherently a violent, vile, hate-filled, and intolerant cult.  Islam is the ONLY ideology with mandatory death for apostasy.  Muslims have been killing each other for centuries starting with its founder Muhammad.

Do you mean the part where they wish the injured man crawling on the street to get himself a gun so they kan kill him? Or the part they call them "dead bastards"?

Endless wars such as: Viet Nam, Korea, Angola, Panama, Nicaragua, The Grenadas, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc. etc.

Random arrests such as those detained without trial or kidnapped in Europe?

Torture such as waterboarding (and this is what is published). Poor those victims we will never hear about.

IRI has chosen a good role model in USA.
