Yes, Warren says many good things, but what if a pastor said I love Iranians, but they are second class citizens? Warren believes gay marriage is equivalent to incest and pedophilia. I understand the political move of Obama to pick him to give the opening speech of his inauguration, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth to allow such hypocrisy. The majority of his supporters who helped him are disturbed.

Rick Warren is a man who can cut across barriers of people and religion and who understands that we are all one big family regardless of our social position and religious beliefs.  That is the reason Obama has selected him to deliver the invocation at his inaugeration.
