Mission impossible

Yesterday marking the 65th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp Israeli President Shimon Peres spoke to the German parliament. Using the historic speech to once again identify with the enslaved Iranian people is very telling, Peres said:

“Like our neighbors we identify with the millions of Iranians who revolt against dictatorship and violence.”

Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to find a single leader of a country in the region who has likewise openly sided with the beleagured Iranian people, good luck.

He should have been reminded that the "revolt" of their neighbors is against the fascist treatment that they are receiving from the occupiers of their land.

It would have been far more credible of him to acknowledge on this sacred day that his government has become the same as the very same regime that brought them so much misery and death. He should have demand his government to tear down this wall and let the people out of Ghetto.

But as you acknowledged, this seems to be impossible from your goverment.
