While the world is watching the opening ceremonies of the Summer Olympics in London, an opening of different sort is taking place in another part of the globe.
According to Free Syrian Army (FSA) and the sane governments including U.S., Britain and France, the murderous Battist regime has begun an all-out onslaught on Aleppo.
Ragtag FSA equipped with light weapons is facing Battists using Russian assault helicopters, fighter jets, tanks and field artillery.
It is a deadly Marathon; one side is running bare feet, the other driving a souped-up race car with the Qods, the Special Operation forces of the Islamist Rapist Republic (IRR) as its pit crew.
While enjoying the splendid competition and rooting for your home country team in London, do not forget the plight of Syrians yearning to breathe free and be emancipated from the tyranny of the brutish hereditary Battist rule.
Sane world, where art thou?
