During the good old days of the “neocon warmonger” Bush, life was easy for the Islamists/rabid anti-Semites and their likeminded lap poodle of lefty allies.
All the triumvirate and their hordes of lobbies had to do was to put together news clippings of the bloodlettings and conclude by saying, lets avoid this faith for the Iranians and make a “Grand bargain” deal with the “indigenous Democracy in the making” by the Islamist Rapist Republic (IRR).
Emotions ran high then, drowning out coolheaded voices pointing out the overwhelming majority of the bloodshed was, and still is to this day, done by the local Islamists murdering Moslems.
It was all about avoiding war and giving the Islamist “reformers” the chance to do their reforming and becoming a model for other nations in the region.
Well, that ship has sailed, nowadays the triumvirate and their lobbies are stuck with the harsh, in your face, reality of an unreformable, warmongering, Iranian men, women and children raping, maiming and murdering messianic IRR which is on the path to acquire nuclear weapon.
Isn’t time to let go of efforts to shore up IRR under the guise of anti-war?
How about lobbying for the least costly way of emancipating Iranians, i.e. regime change, which includes oil boycott?

Oil Embargo is necessary, as boycotts don't work when they are circumvented using the black market.
An alternative that serves iranians is to have a UN monitored national referendum, as suggested by Reza Pahlavi for over 30 years.
