“Turkey's prime minister sharply criticized the U.N. Security Council on Saturday for its failure to agree on decisive steps to end the 19-month civil war in Syria.
Recap Tayyip Erdogan told an international conference in Istanbul that the world was witnessing a "humanitarian tragedy" in Syria.
"If we wait for one or two of the permanent members ... then the future of Syria will be in danger,"
Of course Erdogan is referring to China and Russia who with their repeated vetoes at UNSC have blocked any meaningful international steps to end the pogrom.
Syria Battists fortifies with units from Quds Special Operations from Iran along with the Lebanese Hezbollah militias have been murdering Syrian men, women and children.
In full view of the civilized world and with total impunity, The Damascus regime has been indiscriminately bombarding residential neighborhoods with heavy field artillery, tanks, fighter bombers and helicopter gunships for the past nineteen months.
During the past 5 days, 1000 (one thousand) have been killed. The murdered count has reached 33,082, how long is the civilized world going to allow this to go on?

Muslim = Sportman
by Demo on Mon Oct 15, 2012 12:57 PM PDT1. 'Muslim' like 'sportman' is a mere title. Only & only GOD is aware of any Iranian's, any Iraqi's, Sadam's, any Syrian's, any Taliban's, and anybody else's real 'faith' & his/her way of life.
2. Just by self 'intuition' & by reading between your lines. And once again only & only GOD knows wheteher right or wrong with such personal take of mine.
"They think that they lay you under an obligation by becoming 'Muslims.' Say: lay me not under obligation by your Islam: rather GOD lays you
under an obligation by guiding you to the faith if you are truthful" (Quran, 49:17)

So I ask once again, where was/is the concern by Muslims like you around the world when the likes of Saddam and Taliban were butchering their fellow Muslims, and the way Pakistanis, Taliban, Iraqis, Syrians etc are doing now?
And where was the "hate" in my comments?

Hypothetical question
by Reality-Bites on Sun Oct 14, 2012 08:42 PM PDTIran is unlikely to be occupied, as I don't foreseee any circumstance in which there will be a ground invasion of Iran.
I'm against any kind of military attack on Iran and if it happens, then Iranians should do what they did when the last time there was an occupation of Iran, by Saddam's forces....... (which inccidentally led to over a million Muslims killing each other).
Thanks for the Answers & Your Time
by Demo on Sun Oct 14, 2012 05:41 PM PDTMissed one key question, though:
What should Iranians do if GOD forbids Iran is ever occupied the same way as Iraq & Afghanistan?
Answers?
by Reality-Bites on Sun Oct 14, 2012 02:23 PM PDTFirst of all, before you start throwing around accusations as such as "hatemonger", you really ought to back it up with some evidence, or you'll just sound bitter and idiotic. Where exactly is the "hate" in anything that I have written? By all means point it out.
Now to your points. So you admit that you got it wrong going on about Taliban fighting the Soviets? Good, we're making progress. But you still seem to have your history mixed up. Some individual elements of the Mojahedins might've joined the Taliban later, but the Mojahedins as a political force had nothing to do with the Taliban. Like I said, the Taliban as a military force was essentially created by Pakistanis and funded by the Saudi Wahabists.
The Mojahedins, inc people like Shah Massoud (murdered by Taliban & Al Qada), got into power in Afghanistan after the fall of the Soviet backed Najibullah regime, and later fought a war against the Taliban who invaded from the South. Who said anything about anyone fighting to rid their land from occupiers? I'm pointing out to you that more Muslims have been killed at the hands of fellow Muslims than anyone else, like in Afghanistan. Why are you changing the subject?
Whatever the rate of killings in Iraq before/after the US invasion, the killings before the US involvement were all done by Saddam and his henchmen (all Muslims) and even after the US invasion, the majority of killings are still being done by Muslims with Sunnis killing Shias, Shias killing Muslims and Jahadists/Al Qada killing anyone they don't like, plus many other innocents.
My point here is not to defend the US. US does everything in its own self-interest and doesn't give a damn about other countries. The likes of Bush, Cheney etc are/were war mongers that broke international law and have a lot to answer for.
My point is about the hypocrisy of people like you who scream and yell about West killing Muslims, while remaining silent when the killings are done by your fellow Muslims, which is happening day in day out, like here:
//www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/oct/13/pakistan-suicide-blast?intcmp=239
Even your fellow Muslims in Turkey are complaining about the Muslim on Muslim killings in Syria, which is supported and funded by the Islamists of the IR from one side, and the Saudis and Qataris on the other. Sure the US is, as ever, looking out for its own interests, but it is the Muslims that are killing each other, is it not? So, why is there no outrage from people like you on such killings?
A Biting Hatemonger's Perspective
by Demo on Sun Oct 14, 2012 01:29 PM PDT"And whoever put Saddam in power, it was he (a Muslim) and his henchmen (also Muslims) that were killing Iraqis. Indeed years after Saddam's death, Iraqis are still killing their own fellow citizens/Muslims up to this day."
Were those killings @ the same rate before & after Iraq's occupation by the foreign forces? And did not the foundation of Mojahedeen by the CIA in Afghanistan later lead to Taliban's rise up there? And shouldn't Afghanis fight back their countries' occupiers? What should Iranians do if GOD forbids Iran is ever occupied the same way as Iraq & Afghanistan?
Do not have to answer any of the above with such 'hatemongering perspective.' Do not bother @ all, dear.
There was NO Taliban when Soviets were in Afghanistan
by Reality-Bites on Sun Oct 14, 2012 12:07 PM PDTIt was the coalition of Mujahedins that fought the Soviets, with Western backing. The Taliban came together, as a military force, years after the Soviets had withdrawn, trained by Pakistan's ISI and funded by the Saudi Wahabists.
And whoever put Saddam in power, it was he (a Muslim) and his henchmen (also Muslims) that were killing Iraqis. Indeed years after Saddam's death, Iraqis are still killing their own fellow citizens/Muslims up to this day.
And I ask again, where was the concern by Muslim around the world when the likes of Saddam and Taliban were butchering their fellow Muslims?

Tired Old "Zionist" Bashing
by shahrvand2 on Sun Oct 14, 2012 08:46 AM PDTDefending tyrants like Assads and Saddam and blaming all the ills of the world on Israel has gotten the Arab world to where we are. Who's done most of the killing?
by Reality-Bites on Sun Oct 14, 2012 06:23 AM PDTThe great majority of those killed in "Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, and Libya for the past 11 years" have been killed at the hands of their fellow Muslims.
A case in point only a couple of days ago:
//www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/oct/13/pakistan-suicide-blast?intcmp=239
In fact, this was the case even before the past 11 years. And I don't recall many Muslims around the world giving much of a damn when the likes of Saddam, Taliban etc were killing their fellow Muslims in their thousands, year after year. They only get riled up when non-Muslims are the killers.
