I missed my good pals, yourself being one of them. If you are referring to our mutual friend !! Frashogar (aka Wahid) I must say he is no malijak of any one, let alone my Malijak. As a matter of fact I hate Malijak. He entertained, in more ways than one, a relative of one of our friends who incedentally has made some "comments" on this very blog!

I don't have a problem with Iranians' free election of Islamic Republic for their next Regime ... as I find this regime to be more  Satanic than anything.

On the Ilussions of "Regime change" model, and then some

Mirza jan they had 'regime change' in Afghanistan and Iraq also, and it  gave us: Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and Islamic Republic of Iraq.

This entire code word of 'regime change' and the way such terminology has been employed in public discourse, has had nothnig but the practical consequence  of  giving more life to Islamic Republics in ME for the past decade. Hence the lost decade.

As far as this assasination: It goes to show how deadly illusions of reform proved to be for Ghassemlo (and his successor, as well). Some people just don't get it. And have paid the price accordingly.
