Are you as sick about the current California ballot propositions as I am?  What is happening to America?  Americans are getting stupider (more stupid) with each election.  Whats the big deal with gay marriage?

Aren't we ALL supposed to be equal in the eyes of the law; the American constitution?

I came to the U.S. late 1973.  In our high school we were debating abortion.  We freaking still are after 35 years.

I am afraid this gay marriage issue is going to be with us for a loooooooooong loooooooong time.

Freaking Jesus nut jobs vs. the homosexuals; both sides have lots of $$$.  We are doomed to be involved in this stupid fight.

If you're open to gay marriage, which is totally fine if you ask me, you have to realize something if prop 8 fails. The religious bat brains will NOT cease and desist their turdiness on the subject. 

Word on the streets is that they are planning to bring new fun religious zealotry to change the definition of marriage to.... wait for it....... POLYGAMY!!!!!!

Basically, they think since you're changing the definition to homosexual monogamy, it means sex ranch mormon fantasies should be legal too. I feel bad for Californians.... ya'll are pissing off too many members of the 700 club with your progressiveness. I also can't believe how much money these religious nuts have to spend on advertising. They should send their money to McCain. He needs it more.

Irandokht you are absolutely right. Republicans usually contradict themselves with their "small government" idealism. Eventhough they don't want the government to regulate environmental issues or say equality in the workplace, they expect the government to stop us from having access to sex education, contraception and abortion. It's moral superiority of the worst kind. I can't stand it, and I feel for anyone who has to suffer through red state rediculous life. Did you know that Evangelicals have the highest rate of teenaged pregnancy?

People should have equal rights regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. Why is that so hard for some people to grasp?  Phobia, that's why!

What I don't understand is why the party of "less government" is advocating the government's mandates in people's lives, deciding who can marry and what a woman can and can't do with her own body? shouldn't they just be involved in handing over people's money to the big businesses and starting wars all over the world instead?

I am voting NO on Prop 8 as well. There's absolutely no damage to society or any individual if a man marries another man or a woman marries a woman. Actually by treating others equally, you bring more harmony.

and vice versa.  This whole man-woman relationship thing is a pain in the butt.  Who can figure men out?  Why should we have to marry someone who leaves the toilet seat up all the time.  I want to be able to leave my bra and panties in the bathroom without hearing a bunch of whining.  I want sushi for dinner instead of meat and potatoes all the time.  I want to watch Lifetime instead of Home Improvement.  I want that cute little Miata instead of a Ford F150.  I want someone who understands me....:-)

Vote NO on Proposition 8 and support a happier world!

I’m going to vote against gay marriages. I don’t believe people who are stupid enough to get married should be allowed to get married. For example in Japan there is a man collecting signitures for a petition to legalize marriages between people and cartoon characters. I think that man is stupid therefore should not be allowed to marry a cartoon character. Under different circumstances I would've preferred to marry a chicken than my ex-wife, so I should have been disallow to marry my ex-wife, or a chicken.
