Moush mordegi zadan, tarfandi kheili ghashang

There is always this guy, or the eye lady or that superman, very nice and polite, they say things that make your blood pressure go to the roof and when you object; their response is always like this:

Oh you misunderstood me, I did not mean to say this or that.

In a very polite and innocent way they just twist the whole thing.

COP, I've made no such

by Sargord Pirouz on

COP, I've made no such comparison. All I've done is mention another film that contains a stoning scene.

And by the way, the setting for Zorba the Greek is during the 1930s, not "a millennium before."

Are you even familiar with the book/film? If not, why are you even arguing? For the sake of arguing? How typical.

She is a talented woman

by iamfine on

Aghdashlou is smart, talented, intelligent, and of course beautiful. As an Iranian, I am proud of her.

marvellous interview

by Fatollah on

I am so impressed by Mrs. Aghdashloo as she is enlightening not only "me" but also this lame anchor-man.

This movie is not anti-Iranian.

I am so proud of her.

Thank you!

The stupid part is that you are relating an actual crime that is commited by your beloved IRI to a movie that is depicting a story that happened a millenium before.

Which part was stupid? I

by Sargord Pirouz on

Which part was stupid?

I merely mentioned a classic film that contained a stoning scene, and the appearance of a renowned actress.

You fellows really need to tone down your emotions. It's adversely affecting your ability to think coherently.

That was the stupidest thing I heard all day but I coming from you is normal.

One sick puppy!

Always ready to do the comparison to justify a very horrible act.

Sick and twisted!

Unforgettable stoning scene

by Sargord Pirouz on

Unforgettable stoning scene in Zorba the Greek, which was a fictional depiction of Crete. I've always thought Greek actress Irene Papas could actually pass for an ethnic Iranian.
