I think mainly For Security Reasons

by Darius Kadivar on

But they have for many years on different occasions. Usually Farahnaz or ALi Reza are present. RP2 was present until 2001 but since he has not been in Egypt for security reasons I suppose or if he has its been on a private schedual.

For the 20th anniversary in 2000 they were all present but it was an exception. Usually the entire family is not present again for security reasons.

On Leila's funeral they were obviously all present but not for the commemorations. I think it is also because the souvenier is still painful for the family in general.

How come the Shah's brothers and sisters nor his children are not attending these ceremonies? I thought you might know.
