In this rare speach, Ayatollah Khomeiny acknowledges that the Revolution has been a failure in implenenting True Islamic values in Iranian society and justifies the necessity of a Guardian Council and Moral duty of the Velayateh Fagih were he to be replaced in choosing the "appropriate" government and "appropriate" ministers as well as "appropriate" Parlimentarians. He also refers to "tragic" incidents in Kurdistan where Pasdars (Revolutionary Guards were killed. (Year ? Occasion ?)
