Official Website : Ali Reza Foundation

Founded by Her Imperial Majesty Shahbanou Farah Pahlavi, the Fellowship is a memorial to her beloved son Alireza Pahlavi, a man who experienced the best and worst of Iran and whose life was animated by an enduring love for the land of his fathers.  For Prince Alireza, Iran’s deep and rich history formed an infinite and compelling source of scholarship. In the languages, music and culture of his native country he found his true passion and calling, not only in his studies but in the fabric of his everyday life. In keeping with this on going spirit, the Foundation will offer future generations of young Iranians the opportunity to attend Harvard University and– with commitment and pride – transform the ancient history of their country into a vibrant and living testament for the modern world.
All money raised by the Foundation – with the exception of nominal andessential expenses, such as external auditing costs – will be donated to Harvard University. The Foundation was established to meet Harvard’s specific standards for scholarship funding. We are committed to the goal of raising $1 million, the required amount for the establishment of an endowed scholarship. The Foundation is organized and incorporated pursuant to Internal Revenue Service code 50(c)(3) and is a registered charity.
