Hopper in Apocalypse Now

by Niki Tehranchi on

was fascinating to watch, especially after I found out he was completely strung out for the entire duration of the shoot!  He is an amazingly prolific actor, director and artist.  Not too many can boast of having starred with James Dean and Natalie Wood (Rebel without a Cause) all the way up to his hilarious guest appearance on the HBO show Entourage.  No matter what era, he always seems to be hip and cool and on the cutting edge.  Sadly, there are rumors swirling on the Internet that he is dying from cancer. If true, Hollywood is about to lose one of its greatest :(
