Former Polish president Lech Walesa (L) and Iranian Nobel prize laureate Shirin Ebadi give a press conference before a "Solidarity for the future" conference attended by Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama part of ceremonies marking the 25th anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to Walesa for his non-violent struggle against Poland's then-communist regime, on December 5, 2008 in Gdansk. The Dalai Lama arrived in Poland Friday for an eight-day tour during which he will meet visiting French President Nicolas Sarkozy to the anger of China.
