Prior to his exile the last Prime Minister of Imperial Iran, Shahpour Bakhtiar denounces Mehdi Bazargan's provisionary government in exile during a Press conference with the French Media saying that he is Open to negotiating with him and the opposition to put an end to the 'dictatorship' and 'chaos' but will refuse to do so if they wish to declare a Republic be it Islamic or under any other denomination. Once in Paris exile in turn he reiterates his accusations against Bazargan's newly formed government vowing to restore the former Constitution and also explains how he would see relations with the United States if he were to return to power as Prime Minister.
