Dear Misters Jahanshah Javid and Said Amin: Below are some questions for both you as the individuals whohave had a say in the operations of Iranian.com. 

BACKGROUND FACTS

(a)  Mr. Javid you were the operator of this website for about 17 years. 

(b) Mr.Javid, previously you worked for the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran for some years in various positions, including working for a company managed by Ayatollah Khatami.  (To be clear, this fact is not intended as some sort of verdict against you Mr. Javid – it is simply a fact underlying the questions that follow.) 

(c)  A frequent and reoccurring practice against commentators on Iranian.com who do not endorse certain viewpoints is that they routinely are alleged to be employees of the Islamic Republic of Iran. 

FIRST QUESTION

In light of this website’s removal of content about a public figure (Mr. Fakhravar) on the grounds that “it clearly slandered him”[fn 1] becausethe commentator “cannot say someone is a paid [Israeli] agent unless [thecommentator] provides proof; Proof means bank statements [and] admissions” we would like to know what “proof” consistent with this website’s definition of proof (which calls for “bank statements” and “admissions”) is there that those participants who are being labeled employees of the Islamic Republic of Iran are actually employed by the government of Iran? 

SECOND QUESTION

What explanations, justifications or excuses (if any) does this website and its administration have for permitting a group of commentators to label those with whom they disagree as employees of the Islamic Republic of Iran and then to repeatedly suggest that employees of the government of Iran and their families should be killed?  In other words, what reasons (if any) are there as to why this site routinely permits people to be labeled as working at the behest of the government of Iran and then to suggest that persons in that category and their families should be subjected to violence? 

THIRD QUESTION 

Mister Javid, as the only person known to us who verifiably accepted paychecks from the Islamic Republic of Iran for services rendered, is it possible for you to shed any light on whether the government of Iran has ever sent someone to clandestinely submit comments or content here or whether they engaged in that practice while you worked for the government of Iran?   

FOURTH QUESTION

We sent several private written requests for interviews through the site’s contact feature: Whether in-person or through a medium such as Skype, we would like to interview Mr. Javid and Mr. Amin about this website, its censorship policies, and issues pertaining to fair access and content neutrality.  We have received numerous complaints about this site and an interview would afford this site the opportunity to dispel the doubts people are conveying about the site and its operations. 

We also will post your responses to the questions above directly under this blog entry to show that you transparently participated and we will not censor or edit your responses.  Would you be kind enough to let us know whether we may conduct an interview with both of you?

CIM I have a complaint

I posted 1 blog that had a video criticizing the Bahai faith (and I didn't make the video ... it's just some lady who wants to leave the Bahais and is being harassed for wanting to leave).  As soon as I posted it, this site blocked my ability to submit another blog.  “Universal House of Justice, stop harassing me; I’m leaving the Bahai faith.”

And here, the site is letting this guy repeatedly advocate for killing peoples' family members!!!  Jesus Christ!  What's up with the moderation on this site?  In memory of Delara Darabi

Thankbyou for your kind words. There is nothing which would offend the Islamic Republic more than to know it was a JEW whcih attacked them and helped bring down their evil empire. I look forward to the day when confirmed rapists such as Mortazavi, the man responsible for the imprsonment and murder of Zahra Kazemi and the protesters in Kahzirak is seen coming out of their house wailing when he realises that his hoise has been hit by an Israeli rocket killing his entire family which he was fortunate to escape. I.love to see their faces when they realise it was a JEW which did this to them.

This is your website and it is entirely your prerogative as to whether to respond to CIM or not but before you do so you migjt wish to verify the authenticity of this group.

Apparently the the group.calling itself CIM (Centre for Independent Media) had officialy changed its name to the American Independence News Network as of 2010. Is this the same group or a copy cat group?
Furthermore, why would this group have a gmail address and not its own company address as most professional companies. To contact the American Independent Newsnetwork you can email editor@americanindependent.com.and find out for sure whether they are the same CIM who have written this thread. I will be surprised given that they have not used this name for two years and that the tone of the thread seems blatantly accusatory despite its desperate attempt to pass off as being independent. I would not be surprised if this is an IR trick.

I'm flattered my comment on a post has provoked Islamists and those who support the Islamic Repulic. The comment that I wrote wishing for th terrorist leaders of the Islamic Republic to be killed by Israel was in reponse to innocent Iranians who have been imprisoned and detained for opposing the Terrorist regime. The people who I wish and strongly advocate Israel to kill (along with their families) are not merely 'employees' as you label them but judges, Sepahi, Basijis who are thugs and terrorize normal Iranian civilians. These 'employees', as you call them, have distributed condoms to jailers to rape both men and women demonstrators. I have no shmpathy for them or their family of such rapists and nurderers and once again hope that Israel eradicates Ahmadinejad, Khamenei, Judge Salavati and Mortazavi and destroys their spawn so that their evil offsprings will never pollute Iran or the earth again.
