When I was unblocked and returned to IC,  I made a pack with myself.

I asked myself, why was it that I even bother to come here in IC? I mean come on the atmosphere is not that friendly anyways. Not that I expected to be in a place where everyone agreed with me all the time  or chose me the best of this and that[and let me add myself to few others categories] and praised me for every single insignificant dribble that I typed on the thread.

I am not that naïve [stupid/delusional/narcissistic – although some may beg the differ] but some civility is expected of any community, mage na? ke begzareem...........

Only thing that I came back for [after being unblocked] was not to feed my ego, was not to type none sense after none sense and get  into debate after debate with no end. It was not to get into shouting match/name calling/ slander/ defending my character/ defaming characters of others/ calling them names / being called names/ gang up on people/ getting ganged up on etc etc etc……….

The only reason I came back [che ghalataie ezafi YT] is to do one thing and one thing only.

I am writing here and elsewhere’s to keep voices of my young sisters, my young brothers my prides and joys who are being beaten, raped, MURDERED and oppressed day in and day out in the streets, prisons and homes in Iran, alive and heard.

So I humbly beg each and everyone, who has a bone to pick with me, who has some axe to grind with me, who does not like me just because, who has an agenda other than to help the nation and country in need which is at clear and present danger of naval blockade and eventual military attack by foreign forces to refrain from distracting this humble Azari and to refrain form distracting the blogs that are specifically focused to keep my beloved nation in the forefront.

If you feel you need to call me names, just click on my account, send me an email and tell me off to your hearts content. But till such a time, let us all focus on what is at hands, the possible catastrophic consequence of naval blockade with certain pathway leading ever so clearly to an all out war on our people and on our homeland.

Your understanding and cooperation is highly appreciated.

And stop your knee jerk juvenille reactions to criticism. We are all adults in here. Nobody, including me, is attacking you in this blog.

Thinking that a criticism is the same than "attacking", is too juvenile on your part and wouldn't fit you right, because I think I can safely assume that you are already passed your 40s. 

You seem to either be overly sensitive, or still haven't developed the adult attitude of reacting to criticism in a civilized manner, hence your endless furstrations and blue face when criticized.

This is the Nth time I am telling you this.

Thanks for noticing the fine point there.

It is not that I am afraid of being attached, i.e. Gentlemen jamshid below. What I am making certain that I will not engage anyone with off the topic comments, nor will engage anyone who want to confront me by giving me advise or even getting into mud slinging.

People who want to attack me, can shout till they are blue in the face, so as long as they know that they are being ignored deliberately.

And yet to many of us, it seems that this is exactly what you have been doing. For instance this very blog itself is case in point. Who cares about what you came back for and what you didn't come back for, who cares except your own ego?

Now, do you see what I mean with feeding your ego? Instead of writing about yourself and people who have a beef with you, shouldn't you be writing to, in your own words, "keep the voices of your young sisters, your young brothers who are being beaten, raped, MURDERED and oppressed... alive and heard."???

I strongly recommend to you that you forget about yourself, and start thinking about those brothers and sisters you mentioned whose very lives are in danger and who unlike you don't have the luxury of being, oh so "sensitive" about immaterial issues.

I agree with your statement here:

There does seem to be a high school style "clique" on this site, with a lot of "khaleh zanaki" (generally speaking, and applying the term to both sexes) going on, which makes a debate on real issues extremely difficult.

Dear Captain,

Like you, I am a reborn blogger on this site. I was blocked too but thanks to  Jahanshah's generous heart, I was given a second life. I fell for the oldest trick in the book: Sex! Well, let's leave it at this point.

I agree with you in general but I understand personal attcks (as long as profanity is excluded) are allowed in one's own blog. Am I correct?

Civility is a major part of discourse - Whether at Iranian.com, or for that matter, anywhere else!

I believe that a person who loses his/her civility, and starts personal attacks of other people, has already lost the debate - Regarless of how right or wrong he/she may be - Period - End of Conversation :) !
