Newt Gingrich is openly Anti-Muslims and Anti-Iranians

Yesterday's polls put Newt Gingrich 4 points ahead of Mitt Romney as the new front runner in the race for the Republican Party's Presidential Nomination campaign. Wow, can you believe it? Newt rose from the Dead!

It was two short years ago that News Ginrich shared a stage with Gert Wilders. Gert Wilders is the firey head of Holland's far rightist, anit immigrant and anti muslim party...and he was invited to speak to a large crowd protesting the creation of a Mosque/Community Center in Manhattan two years ago. They spoke to the same crowd.

It was two short years ago, but the turth revealed itself. Newt was and is openly hostile to Muslims in the U.S.; and openly pandered to the far right Jewsih establishment in New York for political support. Is that who Americans really want as their next president of the United States?

It was two short years ago, that the same Tea Party, Christian fanatic crowd so dominated the news and the Republican Party won seats in Congress -- and took over the house of representatives. This is the same republican party of Arizona (and now Alabama) that openly announced hostility to immigrants and muslims. This is also the same republican party that so cherishes family values and morality; that so cherishes eliminating special interests in politics  - yet they are supporting a three times adulterer like Newt Gingrich, and yet they support one of the very few house members that was not only found guilty but fined for ethical violations (for taking money from special interests) as leader of the House Republicans - yes: Newt Gingrich.

It was two short years ago that out of simple disgust for the hatred and polarization in the U.S. I decided to "go public" and enter politics and do the Ayatoilet show on T.V (which I stopped after 6 months). I was really scared of what was going on ...Here was Newt Ginrich, but then we had cooks like Christine O'Donnell too (running for the Senate)....

There will NEVER be democracy in Iran, if people like Newt come to power. They are hypocrites, and ruthless. Remember his hero Ronald Reagan, was the one who secretly dealt with the Mullahs in Iran (behind Carter's back) and gave the IRI security assurances and coordinated the war against the Soviets in Afghanistan with them. Remember it was the Bush clan, that had golden opportunities to topple the regime in Iran and did not take it. These bastards will fool you, fool all of us ...spout out the most anti-Mullah speech in public and then secretly deal with them behind everyone's back.

There are few politicians I hate more in America than Newt Gingrich. But, let me say this much, you should despise his hypocracy too. These are the types of politicians that say one thing and do totally the reverse. Rules and laws only apply to everyone else - not them. He is full of Sh*t. And if he is elected to represent the Republican party as their presidential candidate - it will be very telling of Republicans themselves.

Just when, I was giving up on Obama, I am reminded of how nasty and bad the Republicans can be!! DO NOT BE FOOLED. The Newt Gingrich crowd hate you and hate all of us. DO NOT BE FOOLED.

Newt Gingrich is anti-everything. He's an opportunist who just wants to sell books.

He wont make it to the presidency, if things go as they are now.

Mitt Romney is a much more credible candidate at this time, IMO. People say they wont vote for him because he's Mormon. But when the time comes, he'll get the conservative vote. hes the only GOP candidate that can beat Obama. And that's what the GOP wants. Someone who can beat Obama. Newt is an old fart.

I would gladly support Nixon or Ford. But not Reagan. The Republican party morphed for the worse. Nixon was a good president; a good American and friend of Iran. The new Republicans are no Richard Nixon.

It is sad to see a party of intelligent conservatives turn into this ***. Nothing is static. Nixon would be considered a socialist by these guys. I am not sure how much you people know of him. But his actions included: price controls; detente. And he gave proposal for a more liberal health care than Obama. But the Democrats wanted more so nothing happened. In the 1970s Democrats were far off the cliff on the left. Now Republicans are off the cliff on the rights.

Nothing is static. Of course it makes sense to change parties. When a party becomes extreme moderates like me leave it. I am a moderate and vote for least bad.

Ayatoilet - I bet you were a Republican in the 1990s

by Anonymous Observer on

Just like most other Johnny come lately new Iranian Democrats.  Back in the 1990s when I was in college and a volunteer for the Democratic Party, I used to get crap from Iranians because I was a Democrat.  Everyone was a big Republican at that time, even in 2000, when every Iranian I knew voted for Bush.  Their excuse (get ready to yawn): Democrats were in the pockets of Zionists, Israel, blah, blah, blah... I kept telling those nit wits "you haven't seen pro-Israel yet."  But they probably thought I was in the pocket of the "Zionists" at that time too.  Hey, wait a minute...they're calling me the same thing these days on IC!  What a bunch of morons.

FYI--New Gingrich started the immigrant investment visa category when he was the Speaker of the House, something that the Liberal Lion of Congress, Ted Kennedy thought was a terrible idea and rejected off hand. One of the biggest benefactors of that visa category these days are Iranians.

Fear Mongering

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

yes or no this is about Newt not Islam or Muslims. I oppose Islam and think it is a threat. Mostly to Iran.

If I put on my Iranian hat the greatest threat to the world is Islam.

If I put on my American hat the greatest threat is Republicans specially Newt types. I am not so worried about what Newt will do to Iran. More about his plans for American. Dude I moved to America and love this nation. I don't want it wrecked like Iran was. Once I made the mistake of standing by and watching religious freaks take over. Never again; I will not be silent and watch is repeated here. I will speak and warn people of the American Taliban aka Newt and his Tea Bagger buddies.

You are completely wrong on this. This is fear mongering at best. You seem to have no problem implicitly supporting the regime in Iran on this site. There is not theocracy here, and there will not be one in the near or long term. There is plenty of checks and balances in this country to keep the system at equilibrium. Your statements are hollow and full of flaws. We just had mid-term election two weeks ago where bunch of conservative initiatives failed to pass, including one that included anti-abortion, and so called pro-life amendment in the State of Mississipi. Yes, of all places, Mississipi reject the archaic approach to abortion, and in a sense the christian right in that state. Did we not just have 2008 presidential election where a very liberal Democrat from Chicago won the race? Not the mention congress dominated from 2008-2010 by liberals. These swings are very much part of the American political landscape. So instead of villifying the christian right, and making a mirage theocracy out of America, why don't you talk about the Islamist Rapist Regime, where real theocracy is killing innoncent human beings on the daily basis with no imputiny. And yes, there is no one to check those thugs right now....not even our virtual fear mongers...

Whoever made those statements has a realistic view of life.  Of course it makes sense to pay kids in very poor districts for small tasks.  As a matter of fact I believe that all kids should be allowed to work in the school, or just drop out of school and obtain external work. It actually empowers the kids.  If the child labor laws prevent such, then such laws should be changed to reflect and 'accommodate' the reality of life in the present.  Why should kids go to school for 12 years if they intend on becoming plumbers, janitors,...

I am [personally] opposed to setting a 'minimum wage' guideline as it discourages employers from hiring more people and paying them as little as the market allows based on their skills...

Most social problems arise from [having] unrealistic expectations...

Mullahkosh

I usually like what I read from Ayatoilet

by Mullahkosh on

But this latest blog is full of nonsense. As others have said, the blog is full of emotions. Clearly, ayatoilet has a thing against Republicans, and has resorted to false accusations to drive his point.

Regardless of what you think of Newt, and I am not his supporter, he is not anti-immigration. He is anti illegal immigration. Guess what? I am against illegal immigrants too. This is a country of rules and laws. We can't sustain the flow of illegal immigrants to this country without jeopardizing the social, and economical welfare of this country. So Ayatoilet, you are ridiculuous on this one.

The rest of the statements about Islam is right on the money. Islam is the biggest threat, and danger to humanity. I don't want it in this country. Actually muslims should not be coming to this kafar nation of ours. They should stay in many of the great Islamic countries around the world. We don't need their contributions in this country. They can stay where they are , and fix their own countries. Muslims in general are anti-woman, anti-liberty, and want to impose their values on others, even if they are minorities. I have yet to come across a good muslim (not as a person, but as a contributor to a civil society, those two roles are very different). So I say, U.S should discriminate about who they let in this country of ours. Good for Netherlands too! The last thing we need is this country becoming another France, or Brittain with their crazy muslim population.

Newt is alos anti-poor children

by vildemose on

Gingrich: Laws preventing child labor are 'truly stupid'

(CNN) - Newt Gingrich proposed a plan Friday that would allow poor children to clean their schools for money, saying such a setup would both allow students to earn income and endow them with a strong work ethic.

"It is tragic what we do in the poorest neighborhoods, entrapping children in child laws which are truly stupid," Gingrich said. "Saying to people you shouldn't go to work before you're 14, 16. You're totally poor, you're in a school that's failing with a teacher that's failing."

...

"I tried for years to have a very simple model. These schools should get rid of unionized janitors, have one master janitor, pay local students to take care of the school. The kids would actually do work; they'd have cash; they'd have pride in the schools. They'd begin the process of rising."

"Go out and talk to people who are really successful in one generation," Gingrich said. "They all started their first job at 9 to 14 years of age. ... Remember all the stuff about not getting a hamburger-flipping job? Worst possible advice to give the poor children

This is also the same republican party that so cherishes family values and morality; that so cherishes eliminating special interests in politics

Allah knows, I live and am a witness to the part of history of this [once great] nation (the Un-united State of America) and how she is being hijacked and slowly turning to a Theocracy more and more by those who happily wear their religion on their sleeves, happily take advantage of the ignorance yet innocent and hard-working citizen of this nation for their own greed.

Yes, just as so many of us Iranians now keep telling ourselves (che goohye khordim goftim Dorood bar Ayatoilete Khomenie) it will come the time for Americans to (how the f&*k did we ever get here)

'Hambastegi' is the main key to victory

P.S. Ayatoilte, emotionally written or not, your blog has far more meaningful and relevent content and I find it very fair and balance based on facts and not just some make-ourselves-feel-happy BS.

One more thing about Newt Khan

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

Did his sick ex wife take hostages? Did she climb an embassy wall. Is that the reason he abandoned her. The man is a dirt bag and there is no way around it. Not one but he cheated on and abandoned two sick wives.

//www.salon.com/2011/03/09/newt_gingrich_hypo...

Then turned around and hammered Clinton for infidelity! Once again I ask did he wives chant "death to America". Not to my knowledge it was they outlived their youth. Newt wants young healthy babes not "death parts us biblical Jesus bs". That is only good in roping in naive bible belt types for their votes. On the good side he is white; male and "Christian". Got to fit the bill. What else do you want: Jesus! Not available all we got is Newt.

That is todays Republican Party where is Nixon when you need him!

PS - Can you read Farsi?  If yes, here's what "Iran" thinks

Iran is not a person and does not "think" as does a human.  The people inside Iran think and they have different thoughts. They are not all one person. And no one speaks for them all not me not AO not even a real elected president if we get one.

Does OWS or Tea Party speak for America; how about Ron Paul? Of course not. No one speaks for anyone unless specifically designed as such. Please you are all entitled to your opinion but not to mine. Nor are you entitled to speak for others.

I don't give a rats behind what some link to an IRI publications says. I might as well put up my own and praise the Green Martians? Don't claim to speak for me or for people who did not elect you; just for yourself.

And the Islamic Republic is openly anti-American and antisemitic

by Anonymous Observer on

Can you point us to a blog or a TV show of yours where you have criticized Iran's open, hostile and violent anti-Americanism for the past three decades?

Stop playing the victim card and stop blaming others for the fruits of your own nation's imbecility.  Now, dear Ayatoilet, please go to the toilet, discharge the chelo kabob and "chai ghand pahloo" that you devoured last night and ponder about the causes of anti-Iranianism for the past three decades.  Could it be the chants of "marg bar amrika?"  Could it be the hostage taking?  Could it be terrorist acts against the U.S.? Could it be...

GASP!  OMG...could it be?  Could Iranians be possibly, remotely, distnatly, nominally, tangentially, microscopically be responsible for something?  Say it ain't so!!! Another giant GASP!!!!

PS - Can you read Farsi?  If yes, here's what "Iran" thinks of Christians and Jews.  Enjoy:

Cost-of-Progress

Hey Raoul

by Cost-of-Progress on

As VPK rightfully put it, you are very emotional yourself.

The whole notion of Iran being islamic (in the sense defined by Arabs) is purely wrong. I, and countless other Iranians have no allegiances toward Islam even though 99.9% of us were born into Islam -it wasn't our choice. Islam does not define us, thousands of years of culture and civilization does. We are fighting for our identity and heritage and do not need so called patriotic americans who unfortunately are extermely ill-informed to come and beat us on to top of what the current regime is doing to us.
I suggest you busy yourself with your divided poltical landscape before worrying about Iran. We got this one, OK?

Obama is far away from perfect but given the other option he is angelic! We got to face it they are all bought and paid for by WS. The difference is that Republicans are also beholden to Tea Baggers; Koch and Norquist.

BTW: Raoul before you go so far on the Republican side remember. Their hero Grover is married to Samah Alrayyes the director of Islamic Free Market :-) How about that for an Islamic Rethug?

The Republicans are the biggest hypocrites of all time. On one hand they claim to be for America; opposed to Islam; blah ... But their "god" marries the head of Islamic Free Market. You know another thing. The NeoCon Paul Wolfowitz got a mad crush on Shaha Riza. And proceeded to pay her 180 K a year out of world bank! They don't really hate Muslims; Arabs or Iranians. Just say it to get votes from redneck ***. But Newt is another story. That guy is a real piece of work.

Newt's family values include. Three marriages; leaving his sick wife and many instances of infidelity specially while roasting Clinton for the same thing. What a complete shameless hypocrite.

//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newt_Gingrich#Persona...

The man is a true scum of the Earth. No amount whitewash will cover it. If he get nominated I say: Welcome President Obama have a nice second term.

You may have some points on Islam being intolerant. Yes it is but the rest of your post is pure misstatements.

You are yourself full of emotional false statements.

  • Iranian people did not collectively reject a progressive secular system. Iranian people rejected the Shah who was a progressive dictator. The majority wanted a democracy not what they got. You need to educate yourself a bit.
  • Newt is more anti-American than Islam and all the ME put together. If he gets his way America will be just as bad as Iran is today.
  • Iran is not the same as Islam and you show your ignorance.

Newt wants to turn Social Security into a ponzi game for Wall Street. Any patriotic American should oppose him an the Rethug party all the way. They are bought and paid for by Koch brother; Grover and the other ***.

Your blog is packed with emotional statements.

Now some rational and fact-based statements for readers:
1) Muslims are ANTI- women, ANTI-minorities, and more importantly they are ANTI-freedom.
Anyone who values freedom, women and minority rights is by definition ANTI-muslim.
2) Geert Wilders is a courageous man who is pro-freedom and pro-Western culture.  He is tired of seeing muslims imposing their cultural heritage on Europe...
3) Any patriotic American is a) anti-muslim, and b) anti-Iran, given the history of both islam and Iran.  Iran is unique in the sense that its people collectively rejected a progressive secular regime that was 'gifted' to them by our CIA in the early fifties, in favor of their own Islamic heritage…
