In a very strange turn of event, Mr. Ardeshir Ommani, President of American Iranian Friendship Committee (AIFC), in an email sent to Mr. Jamal Abdi (NIAC Policy Director) on Feb. 11, 2011 has accused NIAC and Trita Parsi of repetitive lies about NIAC's identity, obtaining funds from a CIA affiliated National Endowment for Democracy (NED), being anti-Iranian and anti-American , who has repeatedly lied about human rights violations in Iran. An official response has not been issued from NIAC as of yet. It is not clear if NIAC plans to file a defamation lawsuit against AIFC or Mr. Ommani, in the same manner it did with Mr. Hassan Dai, when he referred to NIAC as an IRI lobby organization in the United States.

Friends in the Peace Movement,
Last month National Iranian American Council (NIAC) told about 800 lies concerning human rights violations in Iran, including at lest 300 misrepresentations about its own identity as the largest recipient of funds funneled by the National Endowment for Democracy, an extension of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), into its coffer. Any American or Iranian who would like to defend peace and prevent another round of hostility and another series of sanctions against Iranian people should loudly reject the rationalizations, under the cover of the protection of human rights in Iran, for more US sanctions against that country and the war propaganda spread by this group that not only hates its own country and people but also does not give a damn about the lives of the American soldiers who might be wasted during a probable war between the two nations. This group of fake democrats and pseudo-humanist, like the Halabi bandits of Iraq before March 2003 US invasion of that country, who lied about the presence of the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) in Iraq, try to demonize the people and the Iranian government for their own financial greed and illegitimate influence.
The NIAC people would like to become like Hosni Mobarak of Egypt in Iran, led by such puppets as Trita Parsi and Jamal Abdi, some of whom have not visited Iran for decades, while carry the ambitions of Israel in their hearts.
SAY NO TO NIAC.
Ardeshir Ommani

I guess this is good for NIAC. Isn't it?
by Anahid Hojjati on Mon Feb 14, 2011 09:22 PM PSTSo some say NIAC is with IRI and some say it gets support from CIA. I guess this latest development is good for NIAC but then I am not sure.
