The destruction of one of the biggest historical sites in the Chahar-Mahal Bakhtiari province by the Ministry of Road and Transportation was reported by the Persian service of ISNA on October 22. "Overnight 60 of the architectural and archeological remains of Pol-Borideh in Chahar-Mahal Bakhtiari province have been destroyed to construct a road. The ancient site was registered on the National Heritage List", said Aliasghar Noruzi, an archeologist with provincial CHTO. He stated: "The Ministry of Road and Transportation acted irresponsibly, and ignored all the previous warnings of the Chahar-Mahal Bakhtiari Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organisation, prior to launching the new Khuzestan Highway project."

Koreh khar
by kouroush Sassanian (not verified) on Sun Nov 04, 2007 01:10 PM PSTThere is a huge World market for artifacts of all kidns. Much of what was removed from Iran occurred during the Qajar era. The Shah tried to protect Iranian antiquity. These cocksucker mullah arabs lovers are openly destroying Persian artifacts. I rahter they are sold to someone than destroyed.
I rather more is removed from Iran so it is preserved. I actively buy as much Persian artifacts or from late antiquity. I encourage others to do the same.
khasis and mooftkhoor
by Payandeh Iran (not verified) on Sun Nov 04, 2007 10:44 AM PSTFirst of all, those Iranians who live in the Western countries are or have become khasis and mooftkhoor.
Many Iranians helped to steal and take out Iranian artifacts. These stolen artifacts belong to Iranians and must be returned to Iran. You assholes, there are many people who care about Iran, otherwise, IRI would have destroyed everything by now.
Yeh right... during Shah many artifacts did not leave Iran. I could NOT believe my eyes to see Farah Pahlavi standing next to Iran's section in Louvre in Paris. No one asked her how did these things leave Iran during Shah's time.
Yes, IRI wants to destroy Iran's past. We won't let them.
Re: which is why
by Kamangir on Sun Nov 04, 2007 10:29 AM PSTI totally agree with you MRX.
which is why
by MRX (not verified) on Sun Nov 04, 2007 09:26 AM PSTI am quite in favor of having all the Iranian art affects to be purchased and stored in Europe and U.S.
firt of all, all the desturction that is happening to pre islamic istes Iran is on purpose. The objective is clear: total desturction of Iranian identity and replacing it with some shit islamo arab identity. examples are way too many to be one time accident! Look at their latest attempt to pass a rail road by naksh roostam and have the train vibrations gradualy destroy that amazing master piece. or building road by takh boostan which is doing the same thing now, sivand dam, etc, etc, etc
second "ma mardom befarhangy hastim" if some of us care about these things a bit mind you, is because of the efforts and shah and empress farah did to educate us about impoirtance of this stuff. well now those guys are gone and there is no captain to steer a sinking ship called Iran.
May be some people are right about U.S bombing Iran. The damage may be far less than what these monkey's are doign to the country...
This is not coincidence!
by Kamangir on Sun Nov 04, 2007 09:12 AM PSTThe destruction of pre-islamic sites, is not just a coincidence. The building of the Sivand dam as well, for instance is a well planned obscure action to take our heritage under water forever.
Iran is being inyected by arabic culture by the descendants of those arabs who once invaded Iran. The presence of drugs and unemployement in our country, is destroying our youth and again these are all plans to destroy our identity and culture.
This is the arabization of iran

by Astrologer (not verified) on Sun Nov 04, 2007 08:50 AM PSTWill this interfere with your astrology charts in any way? Will you still be able to have the same Iranian energy? What does this mean for Iranian astrologers?
What is the point of your article?
by Payandeh Iran (not verified) on Sun Nov 04, 2007 08:17 AM PSTWhat is the point of your article?
Are you expecting sympathy from mooftkhoor and koon ghoshad Iranians who live in the U.S. or Canada? Good luck.
This would not have happend, if
by kouroush Sassanian (not verified) on Sun Nov 04, 2007 08:05 AM PSTThis would not have happened if one of those child molesting ayrabs had stopped to take a dump at that location [Immamzadeh] or if he slaughtered hundered of Persians.
Ayrabs are running Iran, bomb them to get them out.
