The song "Bésame mucho" (Kiss me a lot) was written by a young Mexican woman who had never been kissed.

This article is a tribute to Consuelo Velázquez, who died January 22, 2005, at the age of 84.

Consuelo Velázquez was one of Mexico's best known modern songwriters. She wrote her most famous song – "Bésame mucho" – before her 20th birthday. When asked, years later, whose love had inspired the powerful lyrics, she replied that she had written it before she had ever been kissed, and said that the entire song was a "product of imagination".

Quite some imagination! The song has been translated into more than 20 languages, and been sung in many different styles, by dozens of artists ranging from The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Wes Montgomery, The Morton Gould Orchestra, Andy Russell, Pedro Vargas, Linda Ronstadt, Valentino's Sax, Diana Krall and Plácido Domingo to Sammy Davis Jr., Magdalena Zárate, Jose Carreras, Joao Alberto, Elvis Presley and Mexican heart-throb Luis Miguel.

سوری خان جان عزیز... سلام به شما .

ما دیدیم که مطلب به زبان فرنگیست و خواستیم به اصل بلاگ احترام گذاشته باشیم وگرنه ما خودمان دل‌ خوشی از آنانیکه دم به دم خارجکی مینویسند نداریم :) .

این ترانه بیش از ۷۰ سال از عمرش میگذرد و هنوز تازه است

سال گذشته که یکی از دوستام تولد داشت

براش یک سی دی پر کردم شامل ۴۰ نوع بسامه موچو...فکر کنم تعداد اجرا های مختلف این آهنگ زیبا بیش از ۵۰۰ تا باشه

من این دو اجرای پیشنهادی شراب سرخ را هم گوش کردم هردو زیبا هستند

علت نیمه فارسی نویسی من این بود که نوشتن نام این خانم بفارسی  مشکل است...ودلیل دیگر اینکه...از مطلب اینترنت استفاده کردم

دوستان این سایت هم که همه به هردو زبان تسلط دارند...پس پروا نیست.

شاید یک اجرای بسامه موچو شماره ۵۰۱ هم من بنوازم..تا از قافله عقب نمونم

One of the best and memorable songs I've heard in my life. I like the version older than the new. I prefer to hear Latino singers than the other nationalities, if you are Latino is not difficult to connect with the spirit of the song.is just about love,passion and feeling.

 I love playing this song on the piano ... many romantic memories!
