Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Chomsky

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

is not a shrwed scientist or anything that honorable. He is an anti American; far left wing ideologue. He wants a result {always anti American} then uses his abilities justify it.

Unfortunately these guys get a lot of attention. Otherwise a dog barking has more logic in it than Chomsky. He has no regard for lives of people. Just wants to see USA fail. A real face of the so called "peace" movement.

Mr. Chomsky:

by G. Rahmanian on

Mr. Chomsky, do you have difficulty recalling that since coming to power the regime of the Islamic Republic has repressed Iranians with or without any "external threat?" Is it your age or your prejudice against Iranians which disallows you to see things clearly? Blaming things on "external threats" may be used to curtail political activities of all kinds, how do you justify lack of social and cultural freedoms under the brutal rule of IR for the past three decades? Shame on you, Mr. Chomsky! This is not about your bankrupt linguistic theories where you accuse your critics of misunderstanding them. We are talking about tens of millions of human beings here!

Keep On Brainstorming Chomsky & Dabashi: Libyans can wait ...

Tanks and planes hit Libya rebels (bbc)

Pro-Gaddafi forces have launched a fierce attack on Libyan rebels in Zawiya, sources in the town say.

Casualties were reported as 50 tanks and 120 pick-up trucks launched three attacks on the rebel-held town 50km (30 miles) west of the capital, Tripoli.

"I don't know how many are dead - they tore Zawiya down to ashes," a source in the town told the BBC.

Elsewhere, warplanes fired missiles on residential areas and near rebel positions in the oil port of Ras Lanuf

Another leftist being used by the anti Iran and America coalition - read Soros Et Al... For the best interests of certain European Royals, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, UK........have you checked these countries GDP's in the last 30 years -- they have gone through the roof since 1978!!!  Norway has gone from $10,000 to almost 100,000 !!!  ....... still wondering why and who Norway gives Nobel peace prizes to?

Over the years many well meaning liberals have been used by dictators to fend off potential attacks in the name of peace!!! Peace is a great thing - but peace with the devil is evil mr. Chomsky.

Chomsky

Is a scientist above all. You can tell in this interview that although he says it as it is, there is no empathy. A shrewd but detached observer. The interviewer tries to involve him, getting him to say he is pro this or that. That is not what he does.

Simple

by ahosseini on

We are against all the dictators.

The solution is one word
And don't think this is absurd
I am sure you would agree
Democracy is the key
The key had always been lost
And we had to pay the cost

That include Libyans

Darius Kadivar

I wonder how your poetry will help the Libyans ...

I agree

by ahosseini on

It is really amasing. We have monsters rulling the world and that is everywhere.

Please don't get me wrong about Parazit. I like the program. The point that I am trying to make is that we can be far more effective and amusing, but we don't get the chance.

If you notice in a very subtle way, they are introducing their people and alternatives. This is obviously one tool, there are many others.

Soosan Khanoom

dear ahosseini

by Soosan Khanoom on

I think one should always give credit to the poet .......

being a poet myself I do respect the poetry and poets and i value this passionate art ......

The other day I was thinking of that famous statement of " the tale of two cities "  where it states :

it was the best of time

it was the worst of time

but in today's world of dirty politics I should say it is only the worst of time ........

ps ... do not take parazit that seriously .... i actually like their approaches towards many things ...first they are for peacful demonstrations

second they are for democracy with no revenge of any one after it was achieved

and finally they do respect religion by not bad mouthing it ( something that only a fool can do )

Soosan aziz

It is written on the card
The road is long and is hard

...

In the light of sun and moon
Will win later if not soon

My concern is that Kambiz Hosseini gets 30,000,000 and Ali Hosseini less than 300. we need to overcome the power of media if we want to get anywhere. I am not after becoming famous, but I would like the words to go far. People can remove my name and send the words.

I admit his program is quite funny and amusing. Working for VOA, he is just another mouthpiece of US lead domination of the world. The likes of Kambiz are promoting Iranian types of Karzay'ss and Maleki which is sad. Didn't they lead the military coup in 1953 against Dr Mossaegh. Do we want to go back there again?

Let us fight them and have fun
The dictatorship of Sun
Let us fight every spy
And their god in the Sky

Here in the UK, Sun and Sky belong to a monster called Rupert Murdock. He changes governments like he changes T-shirts. There is a famous saying here and that is "The prime minister of the country reads his Sun before he makes his daily speech in the House of Common".

The more I read your poems the more I like them ..........

" Most revolutions have failed
Because they have been derailed
Never mind Ayatollahs
And the groups of mullahs
Failed by likes of Stalin
Trotsky and Lenin
Failed because all these leaders
Agitators and thinkers
All in the name of workers
Were self appointed leaders
Of course it would never work
In such a bad framework
The solution is one word
And don't think this is absurd
I am sure you would agree
Democracy is the key
The key had always been lost

And we had to pay the cost "

Chomsky is my hero

by ahosseini on

I don't believe in heroes and yet Chomsky is my hero

A kind of contradiction in term.

He is my hero in a sense that he promotes popular democracy and ideas of collective decision makings and the principal in which there should be no individual heroes.

It is really worth listening to every word he has to say.

We should all take the trouble to watch his videos on the YouTube, and read his articles and books.

Chomsky's analysis of Western Democracy(bourgeois democracy, bankers democracy, .... ) is phenomenal.

I am certainly one of his admirers and in line with Chomsky's ideas I wrote a satirical rhyme and send him a copy.

He kindly responded to my poem and wrote:

Thanks, enjoyed it and appreciated it.

Please kindly read and give feedback.
