Can We All Have Sex in Iran in Peace?

by HHH on

All she did was to have sex with his lowlife boyfriend and the lowlife boyfriend filmed everything and posted it online for everyone to see.

She did something that hundreds of millions of good people do everyday. She didn't commit a sin. A sin is raping a 9 year old in the name of marriage. A sin is Seegheh. A sin is destruction of social values and economy so that everyone resorts to drugs and prostitution. A sin is beating and murdering people for money and power while hiding behind the name of Islam.

She did no wrong.

Even the United Supreme Court has asserted the right of communities to dictate what is considered to be public decency laws.

For instance, in a certain locale full nudity cabarets are illegal.  In others parts they are not.

Given the above and considering the United States Supreme Court as the pinnacle of justice, one would accept that the PUBLIC community determines what is considered to be decent or indecedent.

Hence, if you wish to consider pornography an act of personal freedom, you have that right.  However, I should suggest that you perhaps should warm your seat in Denmark.  There is NO acceptance of such thoughts in IRAN, neither yesterday, nor today nor tomorrow.

In Iran, regardless of religious belief, we have a culture and civilization that dates back centuries.  We are the cradle of morality, decency and justice.  There is no place for deviant thoughts and behaviour in Iran's society.

If you are that comfortable of your believes,at the very least, make sure that you make your beliefs public to people you meet in person.  Afterall, you don't want to be a DOROOGHO like Ahmadinejad, you know

I wasn't thinking about your comment in particular but rather Pendareh Neek below who seems to mis represent my comment and calling me an "intellectual prostitute" which seems to have triggered some of the following comments in this thread.

No Problem dear, I perfectly understood your justified argument as well as those of the other commentators.

This actress was clearly slandered in her honor without the slightest possibility to defend herself. If in addition it led to her depression or suicidal tendancy ( which she seems to claim as another false rumor) I can fully understand her reaction.

I wish her continued success in her career as a talented actress and in her personal life. But that shouldn't be too difficult cause she looks much more beautiful and smart than Marylin Monroe behind her. ;0)

Warm Regards,

DK

my comment is not directed at anyone in particular (definately not you) but to whom ever thinks that if the person in the tape was in fact her, there is a problem.  She says it wasn't her so it wasn't her.  Even if it were her "SO WHAT?", in the privacy of her home she made a private tape which some ill intentioned person posted on the net.  "SO WHAT?"

Knowing you, I think you concur with this view.

Darius Kadivar

Who is accusing her ? ...

by Darius Kadivar on

I don't know who you guys are ranting against. If it was my comment, You clearly misunderstood me.

There was no disrespect intended in my comment regarding her.

//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zahra_Amir_Ebrahimi

If It was misunderstood I am sorry.

It won't change my opinion on Namjoo's style which has nothing to do with his persona or good actions or patriotism which are commendable in their own right.

No one is forced to share my musical tastes.

It's My Ears after all ! ;0)

Best,

DK

PS: As for the Intellectual Prostitute Comment, Keep Your Filthy Mouth Closed !

Very good report and she is

Very good report and she is wonderful.

Mirza ghashamsham I'm with you on this one

by Mehrban on

It was her and "SO WHAT ?"

We have to stop thinking and acting like the people we criticize.  Right to privacy is a fundamental pillar of a Democracy (which we, of course, do not have in Iran).

More power to her

by میرزاقشمشم on

She doesn't have to explain anything to anyone. Period. I insist to believe she was the woman in that video and I shout SO WHAT?
It's easy to talk against mullahs, it seems really impossible, for some of us, to think unlike them.

She does not have to have her name cleared of anything. Are you really aware of the depth of the tragedy here? Apparently not. The real culprit, the creature who published the video in the first place was charged with breaching public moral code, and not breaching her right to privacy. That is the real scandal which is happening unnoticed.

There is a reason Namjoo's song is played in this clip.  Mohsen Namjoo dedicated that video to Zohreh Amir Ebrahimi to support her through her ordeal with Saeed Mortazavi in the Iranian justice system after the alleged sex video was widely distributed.

From Wikipedia on Zohreh Amir Ebrahimi:

//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zahra_Amir_Ebrahimi

In 2006, Ebrahimi became the centre of an Iranian sex tape scandal when a videotape of a woman having sex with a man was leaked to the internet and released on DVD. She subsequently became the subject of an official investigation handled by Tehran's hard-line chief prosecutor, Saeed Mortazavi, and may face fines, public lashing or worse for her violation of Iran's morality laws.

The unnamed man on the tape, who is suspected of releasing it, reportedly fled to Armenia but was subsequently returned to Iran and charged with breach of public morality laws [1]

In an exclusive interview with the Guardian, Zahra Amir Ebrahimi denied being the woman in the film and dismissed it as a fake made by a vengeful former fiancé who used studio techniques to form a montage of incriminating images designed to destroy her career.

Rumors of an attempted suicide were also denied by Zahra with a public message: "I just want to tell my country's people I am alive. I am thinking about the strength of Iranian women and will defend the respect of the girls and women of my nation."

One of your better posts, GS, if not the best one so far. Shame on people who fake a cry for democracy and gender equality, yet are traditionally trapped in their rotten mind.

Intellectual prostitution

What do you expect of Iranian society at large when its self-declared intellectual tries to be pathetically funny by posting that kind of comment, below?

Innocence lost, We believe you Ms Ebrahimi- don't listen2 haters

by mannya2001 on

Ms Ebrahimi, I wish you the best of luck.

By denying your role in the so called tape, I believe you.
I believe you because I prefer to see the goodness in people.

You are a victim of circumstances, one that you had absolutely no role in.  This is the worst form of punishment.

I hope you write a letter to the new head of the judiciary and explain that you wish to have your name formally and officially cleared.

True, the government didn;t do you harm, but rather people's judgement.  However, I think with an official statement, things can be a lot easier.

I hope you and especially your family to stay strong.

Monda

Yeah but I only recall her white socks!

by Monda on

DK jan in other words, it was hardly porn.

Whether it was Amir Ebrahimi in that video or not is Irrelevant.  However the way she was impacted by being or not being in that video, speaks of a fundamental disrespect for an individual's freedom in making choices. Choices that do not harm anyone else.  She is bright and beautiful and I do wish her much success in her future projects.

I hear you about Namjoo, I still love the man. I'm sure you know why he sang zolf bar baad, hence his voice on this clip.  In fact Namjoo was the only artist vocally clarifying his stance on threats against Ami Ebrahimi's social persona.

Darius Kadivar

Pretty & Smart. Wasn't she accused to Do a Porn Scene too ? ;0)

by Darius Kadivar on

But what's this obsession of Having Namjoo on every music clip these days.

No offense intended to Namjoo's Fans but Personally Gooshamo Kar Meekoneh !
