I explained what Fareed has

I explained what Fareed has done and what his intensions are. He like many of you have sold his country for a piece of pie.  Mr.Marandi is a professor not member of Ahmadinejad's administeration or revolutionary guard.  Unlike you, he was fighting the Arabs, when you put your tail on your back and ran out of country and lied, kissed and whined to save your behind from a war that was threatening Iran and Iranians by your beloved western countries, and yet you have the nerve to accuse him of being Arab and non Iranian and etc. Just take a good look at yourself before you accuse others!

Now, why is that you didn't hold demonstrations when Saddam attacked Iran and killed hundreds of thousands of true Iranians who were defending your country and dropped chemical bombs on Iranians such as Dr. Marandi?  Was it because the war was a western war and therefore, western countries and Zionist media was not supporting such demonstrations?  Were you afraid? If so, then what happened to democrocy and freedom in west?  Would that jeopardize your self interest?  Even loss of one life was too many and shouldn't have happened, but why was it that you were so silence for the death of hundreds of thousands?  Did you condemn the war? Did you try to stop the west from supporting Saddam? Unless you can answer these questions to Mr. Marandi, you have no business to accuse him of being Arab and mouth piece and etc.  

And stop putting the same old BS about this and that has killed 700 Jews thousands of years ago.  Jews are not the only creatures on this planet.  Based on your past and present history, there is nothing that can defend the Jews.  You king David was a murderer for hire.  As you all know.  He was so brutal that other tribes would pay him to do the killings and fighting for them.  Your nation was so barbaric and was made of such murderers that was named after the angel of death, Israel.  If it wasn't for your selfishness and greed, there wouldn't be a world war II, there would be no war in middle east and most other places.  why do you think God named you Israel'i?   He was sending a warning to other nations.  Now that I broke the code for you, you got nothing to be proud of.

As for Mr. Marandi, I say, It would be good to see Mr. Marandi and other academics join the human rights organizations in Iran and help Mrs. Shirin Ebadi and others to bring a true democrocy to Iran.  If we put humanity first and stand for justice, we will not go wrong and everything will fall in place.  Mr. Marandi said, west is try to create tension and division. Of course they are, and they don't intend to listen to your advice and change their behavior.  The question is, how do we deal with it?  By playing into their hand and killing each other creating more division and tensions?  Different fights requires different strategies and the only way to fight division is human rights, freedom and democracy, not machine guns.

There is a story about a man who lived in a big old house with big old walls. Every time the wall cracked, the man covered the crack with some mud. Until the house came down on him. The man stood on the crumbled house and asked, why did you came down? At lease you could have warned me. The house said, I tried for many years to tell you, but every time I opened my mouth, you stick some mud in my mouth and shut me up.  It is kind of like people and the country. You don't shut people up or the whole country will come down.

Absolutely a loser

I find the comments in support of Mr. Marandi to be a very pathetic effort to support a losing point and as far as negative remarks on Fareed Zakaria and his nationality, it is pathetically racist and rude. Mr. Zakaria has done a great job as an interviewer in this clip and that is what a good interviewer supposed to do when someone responds with silly, stupid and irrelevant rhetoric to clear questions.

Freedom to walk in the streets

I'm just wondering; who should I send my thank you note to, for giving us the extraordinary freedom to walk in the street, as Professor Marandi mentioned.

Sadly however, even this minimal freedom is really non existant in Iran, since dozens have been killed in the very same streets.

Interviewing is reporting!

This is not access hollywood, oprah or any other ass kissing program. You are here to answer questions and if you are making strange remarks you should be rosted for them.

Fareed was asking questions about the unrest in Iran. This clown could have answered seriously but he started to ridicule and play with words. I find it demeaning to all the people killed in jail, all the families that have lost loved ones. He calls them UK and US spies and agents and you want the reporter not to project the other side, to sit quiet and let him shout his propaganda.

A lot of people got angry by the reception of Ahmadinejad at Columbia University but I thought it was correct. Do you still think that the host of Columbia was rude to Ahmadinejad or was he just frank?

I think this is really a lesson to be learned by Iranians to not to be nice to the people on top. Put a side all "Taarof" and be frank like Fareed.

Fareed is a sucker

I had seen a few interviews of Mr. Marandi and I had found him very polite and reasonable. I think like many he is so focused on fighting the imperialism that he has lost track of the purpose of the fight.  I like you Mr. Marandi served and was volunteered number of times.  I like you still fight the imperialism, not for the sake of fighting, but Justice, I have the most respect for he bsigis and armed forces who fought so bravely to defend the country, but this is not the bsigis we knew and this is not the way to fight the imperialism and this is not Justice.  Maybe your comments are not to help the government, but to protect Iran.  Unfortunately with the action the government has taken since the election, the damage is done.  No reasoning is going to justify that.  I very well understand the points Mr. Marandi is making, but there are two ways to deal with issues, wise way and foolish way. Unfortunately the  government has taken the foolish way.  setting all the political prisoners free and taking the armed militia off the street is a start to the wise way.

I also find it very pathetic that a mouth peace and kisser named Fareed Zakaria who has forgotten the starving people of his home country India and was one of the few advisers to the Bush administeration and an advocate of the invasion of Iraq that resulted in killing, injuring and torturing millions of people, who in Jan of 2009 claimed a false victory of the invasion, one who shamelessly denies the support of the United States of Saddam by any means including chemical weapons, who has got the guts to accuse an academic and MP who has spent many years defending his country with his life and spending the rest of his life teaching, of being a mouth peace. 

Well, Fareed did all he could to get as much as he possibly can to use in his anti Iran news reports to help with the sanctions and his next invasion initiatives,  but Marandi was just too smart for him.

I suppose Fareed will deny his involvements in this criminal invasion despite the objection of the United nation and the use of chemical weapons in Fallujah and number of other areas as well.  What else can we expect from a real mouth peace.

Remember those days that as a friend of yours and an Islamic activist (even higher than you in our ranks those days), you had difficulty in speaking Farsi and we used to help you mostly? All Looks Good to This Loony

Fareed Zakaria is a great journalist and his GPS show on CNN on Sunday mornings is probably one of the most informative programs on TV.
I think that he did a great job of exposing this phony clown, Marandi
on Sunday. Fareed Zakaria has been covering the events in Iran in the
past month and he has been personally affected by the arrest of his
close friend and Newsweek colleague Maziar Bahari. Mr. Bahari is a
documentary film maker and a Canadian citizen who has not been heard
from since his June 20th disappearance in Tehran.

The exchange between Fareed Zakaria and this shameless loser, Marandi,
especially the way that he wanted to portray the events in Iran as
normal and mere law-enforcement activities reminded me of similar
interactions during the hostage crisis. Back then, in the early days of
the hostage crisis, Ted Koppel or Walter Cronkite would bring some of
the officials of the regime on TV a few nights a week to get updates on
the situation; people like foreign minister Ghotb-Zadeh, Yazdi, Bani
Sadr and others. This clueless bunch would try to act and look friendly
to the American audience and at the same time project an aura of
authority and control over the situation, which they did not have.

Walter Cronkite could not say Ghotb-Zadeh’s name properly. There were
not enough vowels in Ghotb, so he would call him Mr. Gaaboo-Zadeh (how
appropriate)!

Here is my favorite exchange on CBS nightly News:

Walter Cronkite: “Mr. Gaaboo-Zadeh, when will you be releasing the hostages and how are they being treated?”

Ghotb-Zadeh in thick Persian accent: “They will be released very soon.
They are being treated very well. Every day they get good food and good
fooroot (fruits)!”

And those of us, who had to endure this exchange, just dropped our heads in shame.
