seriously, dear madam / sir: i mean it!

You are doing what is so right by starting MN's fan club and since I really liked your choice of name for your user id as well as the perfect picture of a donkey you have selected as your id tag, then you too deserve a fan club IMO!

keep up the good job and do please inform me whenever you are done setting up MN's fan club via this email so i won't be losing my contact with you and can let you know of my own KFC = Khar Fan Club:

Bravo Nazy

Buying their album . this is the best way we can support our artists. I always suggest to friends and also my boys to buy the CD's instead of downloading everything they want from the internet. You are right on it

Respecting an artist's intellectual property is the least we can do for honoring the men and women who give us so much pleasure, reflection, and joy through their music.

Nazy Kaviani

Dear Naderrrr:

by Nazy Kaviani on

I bought his two CD's, Toranj and Jabr (-e-Joghrafia) at his concert in San Francisco. If you plan on going to one of his concerts you can buy them there or you can buy them through his website, //www.mohsennamjoo.at/.

I believe while YouTube and some free downloads offer a free and easy way to hear an artist's works, it is only fair if we purchase the album to support the livelihood of the artist who, after all, has no other job or income other than through his art. Respecting an artist's intellectual property is the least we can do for honoring the men and women who give us so much pleasure, reflection, and joy through their music.

Thanks for the video clip.....

by MoradAli (not verified) on

Wow, that was a great video, thanks!!! Probably one of Namjoo's best songs. At least, I think so. Never heard this one until at the show in SF last Saturday.

A huge thank you to Beyond Persia for putting this tour together. The SF concert was done very professionally & extremely well, and I sure had a lot of fun. I know it was (and still is) a lot of work. BP, dastetoon dard nakoneh!!!! I wished I could take time off from work and family and follow this tour. I guess that'd make me a "groupie"!! Oh well, why not? Just like my dear friend KayvanAli, I love his work so much that I don't mind the label!!!

And what an amazing personality, this guy is so genuine and so unassuming. You'd think all this celebrity stuff would get into his head, but certainly has not.

Thanks to Mohsen Namjoo, thanks to Beyond Persia, and thanks to all the NamjooHeads that made that concert experience so wonderful.

Raven

This concert was the first

by Raven on

This concert was the first time I had heard any of Namjoo's work, and from what I had heard from people I would either love it or hate it. the first 20 minutes of his show was enough to show me I belong to the latter group, but this song was what really blew me away. I was born in the 60's(iranian calendar), and although some of the things he speaks of n the song happened before I was born, The picture he creates is so detailed and sad that I felt, just for a second, like I was back in Tehran, walking the polluted sidewalks with music in my head and my school bag in my hand .

That was wonderful!

Brilliant!

by Appalled (not verified) on

Doesn't his hair remind you of those steel wools that they used to use back in the days for washing dishes? I know I am dating myself by saying this since probably 70% of the readers of this site don't even know what steel wool is.
