There is no doubt that there are many evils live in Iran but Farhadi decides to ignore them and glorify the decency, dignity, and honesty of Persian people. There are no subliminal messages of nationalism, racism, or patriotism in his movie. Farhadi illustrates the agony of life in Iran as most Iranians experience daily since there is no easy life for anybody. Most middle class and heartbrokenly lower class are used to deal with daily struggles for their ends meats>>>

Yes, it's Jahad, not Jihad. And it's Moslem, not Muslim (mis-pronounced as Moose-lim). It's also Eslam not Islam. The corrections I just made are how the words are pronounced in Arabic. You need to know what it is and how it is pronounced properly, if you want to comment on it. It deserves that respect at least. That out of the way, onto Jahad and why I'm against it>>>

Honestly, I don't know why I was surprised to see nothing much reported about the meeting of Iranian opposition "somewhere near Stockholm" last weekend. I should know better than to think that if in 33 God/Allah/Buddha forsaken years, we still haven't figured out if and how to oppose the child's play, no-brainer, Mother-of-all-opposables, why anyone would ever bother to report on a gathering of the top most 50 people in what you can only grudgingly call "The Iranian Opposition Groups">>>

در فیلم "خانه ای از شن و مه" House of Sand and Fog موضوع مشاوره خیلی جالب است، معلوم نیست طرف مشاوره کدام آدم "پرتی" بوده که ابتدایی ترین نکات را در خصوص مسائل مطرح شده در فیلم نمی دانسته. در صحنه ای از فیلم سینی بزرگی از میوه قرار دارد و دوربین با حرکت از روی آن محتویاتش را نشان می دهد و ما ناگهان "سیر خام" را می بینیم که جزه میوه ها در سینی قرار داده شده! >>>

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the 24th annual All People’s breakfast in honor of Martin Luther King. We had a good speaker and good performances, but I walked away with a revived image of the man whom we had just honored. Looking back, it’s hard to believe that Dr. King lived at a different time, with issues that had previously belonged to others, yet he has offered solace each time a new anti-Iranian wave surged through the US>>>
