Iranian as Canadian

by Urban girl (not verified) on

Hello Ari,
Canada had and Iranian wrestler, the following is from cbc.com:
"It was Mohammadi who eliminated Canada's Saeed Azerbayjani (Iranian_Canadian) in a close quarter-final bout on Tuesday, winning 1-0, 1-0.

Azerbayjani, 33, of St. Catharines, Ont., won his first match earlier in the day, 1-0, 3-0, over Armenia's Martin Berberyan.

Beijing marks the first Olympic Games for Azerbayjani, who won gold at the 2006 Pan American championships and placed 28th at the 2007 world championships.

For years Azerbayjani was runner-up in Canada at 60kg to 1996 Olympic silver medallist, Giuvi Sissaouri. He managed to edge Sissaouri at Olympic trials this year to earn his first Olympic berth."

Bravo Mohammadi

by Ari (not verified) on

We are proud of all of our Iranian countrymen and women who make the effort in participating in international sports and win us a medal. Their spirit of sportsmanship is worth a hell of lot more than gold.

Thank you

p.s. when did any Iranian in the West ever participate in the Olympics? Just curious!!!

Congratulation to MoAli, response to Hajiagha

by desertlion (not verified) on

first of all congratulations to MohammadAli in winning the medal. He makes me feel proud.

Now, let me explain what I believe is Hajiagha's problem and point. I believe, Haji is a very hardworking man, and like most immigrants, most likely being taken advantage of. It seems like, whatever he earns, is spent on cost of living and taxes. I know, in Canada and U.S. thats how the economy works.

However, in Canada and U.S., most everyone has the opportunity to make a better life for himself/herself. But, in Iran, even before the so called revolution, not many people have that opportunity.

There are so many issues in Iranian politics, but mostly domestic issues. Mollahs are not the only problem, we need to take responsibility and correct ourselves. The problems are in our personalities, culture, and mixing with so many different races. In short, I believe if we manage to fix our social problems, then we can have a descent government in any form.

By the way, Mr. Haji, it is coke not cock. Cock, yani "moamele mard" veghti migi "enjoy cock" yani dari migi az felan khsohet miad.

Mohammadi, good job.

But we can't even win a gold or silver in wrestling or weightlifting the only sport that we know how to win?

My frustration and anger comes fro the fact that we have the talent and the resources but the corrupt government is thinking more about the Palestinian and Arabs welfare that its own people.

Guys we will become the next Ethiopia or Sudan in the next 40-50 years. So get your American citizenship and bring all your family members here but pretend you are Iranian and you love Iran.

Take care

Amir Nasiri

Iran's First Medal

by Whatever (not verified) on

OMG! You mean an Iranian actually stayed in competition?? Must mean he didn't have to compete with an Israeli. So much easier to disqualify himself than actually compete with an Israeli in the water next to him or on the judo mat with him. Real sportsmanship.

talk about something without talking about the Iranian government? MSSION IMPOSSIBLE! The main task of "IRANIAN" is - a short look at the articles prooves this - to slander the Islamic Republic of Iranians, to spreasd defeatism all over that Nation and that Country. So it is - as far as I see - impossible to write something, to shou some pics, to make some reports without doing the main job. I think one must accept this, while up to my opinion every body must have the possibility to earn her/his life. And up to western`s democracy it does not matter how dirty a job is. The actual most amazing Raketstory from Iran is commented in "IRANIAN" naturally with the comment of strangers, the Bosses. I think at the end the barking and gruntung Imperialism dies on its own jealouusy and as a result loosing more and more of the profits which it had and has on international commerce. Hier: Shouting Sattelits for other Nations and getting paid. Now is the MONOPOLY brocken. Iranians as the first nation in their Region do not need the "HELP" of strangers. They have even offered Help to other Nations in all Parts of modern Technology, Nuks and raketts and and and . Greeting

Thank you John

Great reply. Mostly the "cock" observation!!!! :)) LOL. That was Hilarious.

In Canada, just like you said: "he can openly enjoy cock". Well, good for him. Let him have his "cock to enjoy..." in;

The True North (always strong and free).

Phelps alone, single handedly has won more Gold than Iran in the last 3 olympics combined. Where is that little 9th century hidden arab boy to give a hand to the Iranians? Where is Imam ali in the middle of all this to teach this "kafar" americans a lesson? I can not believe they don't help us in anything, not even sports! All these prayers, all these stinky dirty guys getting together on Fridays pointing their asses in the air, praying, and one guy beats the whole nation, not just once, but in 3 olympics combined.
