I am disappointed in the comments about her weight (and it happens often that Iranian men make nasty comments about "fat" women).  Since when are all Iranian men so absolutely intent on every woman having to be Western-ideal-thin?!  What is wrong with her--she's not perfectly taut and toned?  OH WELL, mesleh in keh mohemtarin cheez donyast!

I think it's great that she made this video, irrespective of her Saudi-style veil, her imperfect body, her Hindi hands, her rich husband...whatEVER.

You men who find her so ugly and fat and stupid, why don't you post yourself and let all of us women have a chance to be mean back?  Basseh digeh!

I don't know what is about Iranian women that they dance much better when they are not professional. I mean, you see a lot of Iranian "belly" dancers who completely forget their natural-born eshveh. I don't know what happens. That's the sugar and spice.

Maybe the explanation is that Iranian dance, which may or may not include belly-dancing elements, is really a social dance and not a stage dance. Maybe all the social ceremony around getting up to dance -- "De pasho Maliheh..." "Na be khoda balad nistam" etc etc -- is required warm-up.

There is an indescribable alluring quality that all Iranian women regardless of shape, size and complexion have in various degrees that it took Hafez to come up with Aan to describe it.

The head scarf is worn the Saudi Arabian way.

The lady is fat, I mean "Kheeky" not the polite term "chaagh". And she is light years away from "towpol".

And what was that "hindu hand clasp" at the end? There are no, absolutely no Iranian hindus I've ever met.

If Salman Rushdie's book got a fatwa. This video should get 5 billion fatwas for sucking big time.
