Very talented tennis player

by BK (not verified) on

Shame Bahrami's best years as player coincided with the chaos and confusion of the Revolution and its aftermath when he was unable to play tennis on the international circuit for a number of years.

Regardless, Bahrami has still managed to achieve a lot including winning the French Open men's doubles title. Kudos to the guy.

> the only French Iranian I'm really proud of

A simple guy with a great sense of humour. Always smiling, never looked down on anybody, and most important, he always refers to Iran without shame.

when i was in Iran, I had pleasure of meeting hin in Esteghlaal tennis courts in Vanak he is really funny guy and I agree he is a good nomination for Iranian of the day because regardless of him living abroad, he always participated in tennis tournaments under Iran's flag.
