Iranian American Wedding

In Utah

This wedding was a blending of cultures with a Persian American wedding ceremony and reception in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was a great collaboration and a beautiful wedding in the bride's backyard. This video has the highlights from the entire day, including the ceremony and reception:

How do similar couples deal

by medea on

How do similar couples deal with this problem? I fear I will have no other chance than to change my religion "just on the paper" and to stay Catholic. I can tell you, this is far away from an ideal solution and I really feel angry about the Muslim law which doesn't allow Christian men to marry Muslim woman but does allow Muslim men to marry Christian women.

What kind of comment is this? (see below)

"I know for a fact that the guys that have married American gals have been happier than the ones that married Iranian ones."

Incorrect and uneducated negative generalizations, pulled out of this writers' a**. You should go and apply to work for FOX & the new CNN, they'll hire you on the spot. You meet their credentials & standards, "for a fact".

Lovely

by The man who could be married (not verified) on

Truly nice couple, it clearly shows they love each other.

I liked the scene that they open a box full of butterflies! Great idea, where do you buy that many butterflies? I need them for my garden.

Bride is very pretty and has a nice smile and I think they will be married forever.

Just remember not to have more than two children and if you really want to enjoy life, don't have any....

Khoda Bia Morzatesh

by Movaffagh (not verified) on

Men in general and Iranian men in particular have a "zan zalil" vein in their system and this gentleman is a prime example of it. In bichareh daamaad, kheili delam behaalesh sookht! He looks like a lamb on the way to slaughterhouse. He should have dated a few more chicks before getting married. Good luck my friend.

Ali, why pick on this couple

by Roozi (not verified) on

Ali, why pick on this couple for converting to Mormon, man? Ok, I think I know the root cause of your sarcasm. Just let’s hope that she is going to be his only wife later on when his thirst for sex extend to other Mormon. I wonder if they got such a thing as Sigheh similar to those being practice in Islamic Republic. Isn’t Mormon similar to Jehovah witness religion? Talk about fuck up religion, Jehovah is the one. Too many of them roaming the neighborhoods trying to convert others. Well congratulations to this couple on their happy occasion and fuck all religions, from extra small to extra large. Religions are the source and mother of all evils. While I am at it, let me make myself feel satisfied by stating hell with akhond and akhond zadeh. Feel much better!!!

Mormonism

by Ali (not verified) on

Good job converting to Mormonism. At least in your new religion dancing is not a crime, as a matter of fact dancing has been encouraged ever since the inception of Mormon religion. Also I wish you good luck in your people’s search for a new Prophet.

Wish you both love and true partnership forever

by Noori (not verified) on

Nice looking couple. Wish you both love and true partnership forever. Marriage like everything else needs constant maintenance and you got to give it appropriate nourishment like a potted plan. If you don’t feed it and take care of it, it will die. Mine died after 18 years, simply for failing in repairing my unity in respect and understanding. When two people with different cultures unite in marriage, the task to maintain that marriage is even harder. Cultural difference sometimes put couples in awkward situations, where couples fell in trap. The magic in successful marriage begins with respect and understanding for each other. Those two elements and other fine attributes will do the magic and keep marriage strong in unity. I wish this young couple so much love and may their unity remain strong and last for ever, amen.

Make Love not War.

I love it, Iranians have married into various nations and religions in the world. We are just so damn cosmopolitan. We are conquering the world by exporting our culture and blood through love.
