Hamed Mahmoodi

I would like to nominate Hamed Mahmoodi as Iranian of the day. He is an architect by trade and worked with several international firms, as well as a local company in Greenville, South Carolina, USA. He went solo few years back and currently does free lance designs, giving him more time to practice his art as a painter. His design addendum for Ground Zero Memorial Park in New York City is still under evaluation by LMDC --  lower Manhattan development company. Mahmoodi's proposal consists of two elm trees made from the derbies of the Twin Towers, and the number of lost people about 3300 white doves which were caste of acrylic material with bulb lights inside of them which come on at night as candlelight vigils.

Nails definately need some attention. The glasses and the pose? WTF? Miami Vice?! The nose is Iranian but it's the combination of the lips and the eyes. I am willing to bet his favorite dish is Tahchin.
