He is absolutely correct.
by Kaveh Nouraee on Tue Jul 15, 2008 09:50 AM PDTNatural grass is infinitely better for a variety of reasons. Natural grass, like trees, breathe as we do, only backwards. They "inhale" the carbon dioxide that we exhale and they give off oxygen. The very oxygen we inhale and rely on to live.
Synthetic grass is made of recycled rubber and plastics, things that were once tires on our cars or household items. And all of them are contaminated with lead and other carcinogens (cancer-causing agents). By comparsion, a pack of cigarettes is health food.
Bravo to you, Mr. Mirfendereski. You have always been outspoken and call it the way you see it.
Go Guive, go...
by sima on Tue Jul 15, 2008 09:27 AM PDTThanks a million for the time and resources you devote to this cause. This whole kiddy soccer industry in the US is revolting. I resigned from being a soccer mom before I even started. What happend to just playing football for the fun, friendship and natural discipline of it? To be inhaling tires into the bargain just adds injury to insult.
Now, is all this activism what is keeping you from writing here more often?!
A good choice
