BIGOTRY

by Daniel1 (not verified) on

Shame on most of you for the pure bigotry and non acceptance of children that were obviously grapling with who they were and simultaneously caught in a horrific injustice. This bigotry has no place in civilized society. THERE WAS NO RAPE- accept that there are thousands of gay men and women in Iran and they are being senslessly tortured and killed. I pray for those who cannot accept the values of peace, acceptance, truth and love. Most of all I pray for the homosexuals in the Middle East and thier continued struggle for justice. You are beautiful martyrs.

The killing of Palestinian children might be just a "trademark" for you, it does nonetheless takes away your right to talk about Human Rights.

So, you stop supporting the killing of young Palestinian children and then we'll talk about the execution of young rapists in Iran. Deal?

Zion

... you have no answer to give. So we get the usual tactic of bringing in the trademark "Palestinian children" to change the subject. Fine. I gather we are to take this as your statement of concession?

How ironic that a self-proclaimed Zionist is talking about respecting international treaties and is shedding crocodile tears over the death of a young man.

For a supporter of a regime who runs over peace activists with bulldozers, shoots children on the streets for throwing stones at their tanks and has violated the most international treaties and U.N resolutions of all countries in history, you seem terribly upset about the execution of one alleged rapist in Iran!

I am sorry but the second you call yourself a Zionist and start defending the worst criminals and war mongers of the planet, you lose the credibility to talk about human rights. Just back off and let others discuss this case.

Zion

You got a point

by Zion on

Yes, now that I think of it, there is no reason to believe the guy had a homosexual relation at all and the whole thing could have been a set up, given that the "witnesses" are on the record denying their charges.

This is part of the news report from Irandokht's link:
"his week, 20 year old Makwan Moloudzadeh was executed for alleged sexual activity with other boys at the age of 13. Makwan was initially arrested for smoking during Islamic fasting month of Ramadan. In a show of humiliation was placed on a donkey and taken around the town in city of Kermanshah. Several days later 3 boys told the authorities that Makwan had sexual relationship with them when he was 13 years of age. Despite the fact that the boys later withdrew their allegations, Makwan was sentenced to death for these alleged sexual acts"

So it is possible that he was not even a gay. How does that improve the situation?

Given that he was a Kurd, and given the fact that the way your shia brothers have been treating them in particular is quite reminiscent of Nazis, I can see how the poor boy could have been victimized because a brown shirt Islamist jerk didn't like his face or decided he would like to make an example out of this fag-looking infidel boy who disrespects the holy month besides being a kurd! Witnesses could have been forced to lie to make a case, or bribed or they were just plain self-serving jerks who thought they can benefit from relaying a teenage act of curiosity they had once taken together, and once they realized how far the Islamist shias were willing to take this, spoke up and did the right thing. Who knows. In dictatorships, especially as ideological and brutal as that of your buddies in Iran such things easily happen, and they do happen all the time. The point is, a boy has been executed for something he was accused of doing, falsely as evidence prove, when he was a minor of 13 years of age against any moral standard of the 21st century and in violation of international treaties that your filthy regime has actually signed. One more example of why such a beastly system can't be trusted with their international obligations.
Be ashamed of yourself. By whitewashing this crime, you are an accomplice. Justice will come, sooner or later, but it will come. Take note.

Please cut the crap. What do you mean they "found out" he was gay?!!! You mean he just told them that he was gay after he was arrested for smoking and then they decided to charge him for rape?!!

And what do you mean the witnesses were "forced" to accuse him of rape? If so, how come the victim withdrew his complaint later? I am amazed at how much you are willing to distort the story to serve your Zionist agenda.

The most likely truth, is that Makan DID rape the other boy. But when he was sentenced to death, the victim decided to withdraw his complaint out of good heart, to save the other guy's life. But it was too late.

The case has NOTHING to do with smoking on the street or being a "homosexual". I am pretty sure he was not even a homosexual.

And how do you suppose

by XerXes (not verified) on

Someone has found that another person is gay?

You guys are talking none sense. I have lived most of my life in Iran and tell you, what you are saying is garbage. This is bull. Some of you should read the story of the crying wolf. This kind of none sense won't be bought when it really does happen.

The fact is that those people were found guilty based on a CRIME, not sexuality. If they were gay, then the "bar chasp" was put on them, but not the reason.
Yo Zion from Zions, kapish bro?
Suppose someone is caught stealing in your country, somewhere in Urshalim, and then after they have prosecute him/her, the news comes out that the person was gay and also non Jewish (already a crime in Israel)...So was that person punished for being none Jew and gay or was it because he/she committed a crime? Get it? Man I feel like a broken record.
A person does not get arrested for smoking a cigarette in Ramazan,
Who am I talking to?
Someone answer my last comment, how can you tell someone is gay? explain that to me, then I will believe everything you guys are saying

What is wrong with you? What Irandokht is saying is straight forward. The guy is arrested for eating in Ramadan, he is then charged falsely for rape once they realized he is gay, and he is executed based on that false charge. We know he is charged falsely because the "witnesses" have admitted on record that they were lying when they were forced to accuse him of "rape". So someone is arrested for eating, and because he was found out to be gay was executed based on a false charge.
Can't you comprehend something so simple, or is it not to your advantage to admit the proven vile nature of your regime?
god, is like talking to a broken record!

Abolishing death penalty should be the first step.

by Shadooneh (not verified) on

I really have no idea who did what, but unless we abolish death penalty in Iran, we'll never have a chance to guaranty, as much as we can, that justice will be served in case all the facts of the alleged crime were not known at the time of the trial, or there were shortcomings and/or mistakes in the legal proceedings. Recently the death verdict against many convicts, who have been on death rows in the US because the juries have been convinced beyond the shadow of a doubt by the prosecutors of the accused crimes, have been overturned due to new DNA testing methods. Death penalty is final and once the convicted person is put to death, there won't be any way to reverse it in case it becomes evident that the original verdict was wrong.

Haram even in the Bible!

by ghalam-doon on

A while back, there was an Iranian journalist who wrote an
article about the Jews and other minorities being forced to wear certain types of clothing in Iran to distinguish them from others. He compared this “policy” with the policies of the Nazis.
There was an outrage against this guy within the Iranian community, whether
they were pro or anti I.R. Consequently the paper that published the article
had to apologize and the journalist was ostracized.

Now, many gay Iranians have questioned this particular case.
They have mentioned the fact that the people involved were executed for gang rape. We should be outraged that someone has decided to make a play about something that has never happened and look for ulterior motives.

Surely, gay people are persecuted in Iran, the same way that Jews and
other minorities might have been persecuted. But there must be other ways to protest any wrong doing of the I.R. than make a case about something that has been proven to be fabricated.

As to the cigarette case, I have family members who eat and smoke during Ramadan. Surely they try to be discreet, the same way that gay people in the West try to be discreet. But they haven't been arrested or persecuted in any way.

by Azad99 (not verified) on

The fact that Makan was arrested for smoking during the month of Ramazan is totally irrelevant to his execution.
He was not charged for smoking nor for homosexuality, he was charged for RAPE.

If someone is arrested for speeding and later the authorities find out that the person is a murderer and give him a life sentence or the death penalty, no one would say that he was executed for "speeding"!!

Now you can criticize the legal procedure and lack of due process in the case of Makan and that's perfectly fine. But for SCE and other "human right" organizations and "opposition" groups and Iranians abroad to keep turning rapists into poster-childs and martyrs of "gay rights" in the media is just terribly wrong and destructive.

I said Makwan was executed for smoking in the month of Ramzan. I provided the reports that clearly show that's why he was arrested. The kids who came forward during his trial and told the rape stories, later said they had lied, but the execution was done. They hanged Makwan in a cowardly way in his prison cell without informing his family and his lawyer.

Are you disputing that?

This is one story that we followed through the reports of SCE Campaign, it doesn't mean that it was the only case of such acts but I didn not generalize, I did not imply that people get executed for smoking in the month of Ramazan, instead I specifically named the victim that I knew about.

Lets not close our eyes on the crimes that are committed every day in Iran just to save face in the western media. It's not our face you're saving, it's the face of the criminals who are executing people on false pretenses and have no shame killing juveniles in the name of the sharia law.

I don't call this sensationalism.

You are implying that people in Iran are executed for smoking cigarettes in the month of Ramazan. And nothing is further from the truth.

The Iranian judicial system does have its enormous flaws and of course some innocent people have been executed in the past. But that doesn't mean that whoever is executed in Iran is innocent! Same is true for the U.S and many other countries that practice capital punishment.

But as always the Iranian "opposition" is completely out of it and is now in the business of supporting every rapist and murderer in Iran.

A little less sensationalism and a little more rationality wouldn't hurt the country!!

Dude... I'm just not getting what you're all upset about.  Is this a true story or not?  Are you pissed because it's being performed in the US or something?  Are you saying that you DON'T want anyone outside of Iran to hear about the atrocities being committed by your government?  That's what you seem to be saying.  So, I ask you, why not?  Why don't you want the world to know about this?  Why DON'T you want pressure put on your government to stop this?

You're taking this play to the point of the US attacking Iran?????

You make blanket statement about how the US feels about Iran. I've said it before and I'm going to say it again.  The Bush administration does not speak for AMERICANS anymore than the mullahs speak for the IRANIAN PEOPLE.  How do you know how I feel about Iran?

I truly don't understand your angry attitude, especially as it relates to this play!

We love all iranians with different religions and opinions, because they are from the same soil. we love all gay iranians too, because they are childeren of iran. but, i'm sorry, America is not going to tell us iranians how to live. doesn't matter how shitty the iranian government is, if we don't like it, we should work hard to fix it. but not fight it. NOO NOO NOO revolution. Look what we did with poor Shah, all he wanted to do was help our Iran grow stronger. And the current government, no matter how shitty they are, they care more about iran and iranians then Americans or any other foreign country. Let's not be childeren. I hate iranian government for their corruption, but I love iranian government because they our my government, they are not puppet. I can tollerate any shitty government, but one thing that will not tollerate is a puppet government, and iranian gov. is NOT a puppet gov. and I love them just because of this reason. If that doesn't make sense to you, then I'm sorry.

please read my words, thank you in advance.

by Anonymous9999999999999999 (not verified) on

LOOK, we iranians are all for personal freedoms. most of us agree on this. even gay people should be free to do what ever they like and have the same rights. Also, we all agree that current Iranian Government has a long way to go to grant these rights to its people/ our people. Most of us agree on this point too.

But But But my Iranian brothers/sisters Let's not be fooled by these media attachs on iran because of its human rights. do you think they care about us iranians and our rights and our future. the answer is NO in my humble opinion. America/Isreal is using human rights as an excuse to beat on Iran and make iran and iranians weak. Let us not fall for these and fight this trend. Iran will solve its problems by itself, no one will tell us how to live our lives and what to base our lives on. Iran has a 7000 years of civilization, we know how to live. we don't want America or any other country or nation to teach us about what is good and what is bad. we have our culture and religions and iranian thinkers to help us understand our universe and values and ideas. America, please keep your values for yourself.
