She carries the notes very well.
Nope
by iraanitamino (not verified) on Sat Jul 26, 2008 08:46 PM PDTEvery so often a so-called "opera singer" appears in Iranian of the day. HAHAHAHAHA. First of all, a professional is never referred to this way, rather by their voice type (she sounds like a contralto or a mezzo). Second a professional classical singer never sings with a microphone in performance. NEVER...HEECH VAGHT! She is a crossover singer...at best.
There will simply never be an iraani who makes it as a proper opera singer, whether they be in the diaspora for a hundred years, an FOB, or living in Iran. Or for that matter most Iranians will never know enough about something so abstract as opera to be able to tell you this. Sorry if I'm sounding like a gharbi snob or a self-hater but it's the truth.
very nice!
