Silent on Funding

by Agha Parviz (not verified) on

Isn't it interesting that according to the public recod, Azar khanom received $25,000 from the far right Bradley Foundation while she ran her Tehran book club and $607,000 from the conservative Smith Richardson Foundation during the years that she wrote "Reading Lolita" in the US. See this link

The year after Reading Lolita was published, Smith Richardson Foundation gave a final, much-reduced grant to Nafisi and thereafter devoted its Iran budget to the dishonest warmongers at
WWW.IRANWATCH.ORG,
who have since that year received over $600,000 for demonizing Iran.
According to the public record, the same foundation spent hundreds of thousands on the exact same liars previously when they spread propaganda about nonexistent Iraqi weapons of mass destruction at
WWW.IRAQWATCH .
Dr. Nafisi, is there a reason you NEVER, EVER mention this funding from sources when you go around promoting your book?! No, really?
