I have to agree with him, nothing taste better than Anareh Taft (Taft is near Yazd). The other day I bought 2 anar from local store for $5, hell of a deal lol.

I think you are right. In my case,I found that a lots of the harsh realities of my childhood memories were covered, and customized with my own optimism. Some of those elders were not as kind, and as big as I thought they were. Calling some one pedarsag, or pedar sokhteh, in a persistent, and continous way, was a funny way to show your diapproval, or disfavor, or dislike, towards some people, that otherwise would not be possible.

I don't know about you guys, but my maternal grandfather called me pedar sag all the time.  I don't think he liked my dad.
