Great Speech
by Sara D. (not verified) on Wed Mar 12, 2008 08:40 AM PDTWhat a beautiful speech...hats off to him and all who stay in Iran and try to build a better future. Hopefully there will be others who pick up where he left off and build on the foundations that he established. May he rest in peace.

Don't Forget
by Salar (not verified) on Wed Mar 12, 2008 01:41 AM PDTThe same thing that happened to the “supposedly” reformist government is happening to this site. Censorship and subjectivity of moderator’s are creeping in and ultimately moving towards “somethings are sacred after all, and my definition dictates what those are”. The end I think we know where it is going.
As for Boorghani, let’s not mistake what those 21 million voted for, they voted no to mullah regime, not for khatami, he just happen to be the lesser evil among the options people had at the time. Guys like him architected how to sugar coat the mullah regime to keep it through some turbulent times and diverted and controlled the true freedom movement by students and the rest. personally he might’ve been a nice guy, but that doesn’t matter, it’s his public and political life that matters and needs to be judged.
Now let’s see if this piece makes it through the censors!!!

Alas, what he sought was
by Anonpeace (not verified) on Tue Mar 11, 2008 09:53 PM PDTAlas, what he sought was close at hand, near to the soul, dear to the heart. Yet this was only longing without ever a glimpse only more hope in the distants of hopeland and the time did not commit to the long road!
Great soul he is.
May he rest in peace

by the real Nader Vanaki (not verified) on Tue Mar 11, 2008 03:16 PM PDTThe man will always be remembered as one of the architects of the golden age of journalism in post revolutionary Iran. He was all that he was, said, and did. May he rest in peace.
Naneh Man Ghareebam
by Jorbozeh (not verified) on Tue Mar 11, 2008 01:20 PM PDTOk, may he rest in peace. What's with all this drama? It's not like he openly stood against oppression and torture and was killed as a result.
