Order
by Dr. A. Hassan Danesh, President of Iran (not verified) on Sat Dec 08, 2007 07:52 PM PSTThis is a brief note I am writing translatable to all living and dead languages that I have not ordered the arrest of Iranian students. Therefore who ever is found responsible for such arrest this note works as a warrant for their arrest and their subsequent imprisonment until the due time for them to appear in the court of law for just trial.
Still hanging remains to be the routine method of execution of the guilty unless there is a popular demand for the execution method from hanging to that of alternatives (e.g., lethal injection, electric chair, gas chmaber, firing squad, stoning, buring alive, unversion hanging from the feet, crucification upright with three to four nails, etc.).
Please distribute this memo to the relevant people or authority for follow up or the update.
Thanks.
Hassan

The country needs them for their expertise in their respective fields....
Leave the politics to the politicians...
The student movement in Iran has always been played by professional polticians to satisfy their own political needs..

Unnecessary Reliance and Flawed Thoughts
by Anonymous 5000 (not verified) on Fri Dec 07, 2007 11:22 PM PSTUniversity students have a high place on the minds of Iranian public. They are considered as something special. However, historical record shows that Iranian student movement is anything but special. In fact, this movement has been mostly misguided. There is no doubt that student that enter Iranian universities are highly capable in math, physics, and chemistry. But, when it comes to social and political issues, they are very naïve, lack originality, and incapable independent thoughts.
We remember the student movement before the revolution. Politically-oriented Iranian students knew Lenin’s manifesto by heart, could recite Mao’s red book word-by-word, and they knew Islam better than those who introduced the religion and could actually read its sacred book. What Iranian student activists lacked was independent thought, critical thinking, and unbiased analysis of political and social situation in Iran. Their movement was often associated with demonstration, vandalism and university property, and disruption of classes. Needless to say that they lost the revolution before the revolution had started because they were living in another universe.
Thirty years has passed, but nothing has changed. Iranian student activists still behave the old fashion way. They have learned nothing. Pre-revolution students activist were naïve but they never sold their country or their ideals to the enemy. In contract, the modern student activists are filled with treason to the nation. How can one forget the globally publicized letter by Iranian student activists welcoming the American invasion of Iraq? How can one forget traitors like Ali Afshari and Akbar Atri (the two heads of Iranian student movement) who testified that Iranian nuclear program is a danger to world peace? How can one forget that Amir Abbas Fakhravar (aka Iranian Chalabi) was spying for the enemy and was in total contact with Richard Perle? Again remember that when Ali Afshari was arrested, there was a similar outcry to that of today's arrest. Is it possible that some of these 28 arrested students are traitors like Ali Afshari, Akbar Atri, and Amir Abbas Fakhravar? If so, they better be in jail, because the record post-revolution Iranian student activist is really poor.
I am not against political activity of students. However, I do not believe that the sacred land of the university is a place for politics. University is for teaching, research, and service to the community. If any student wants to do politics should get out of the university and does what he/she likes. Iran of today is in need of technical know-how more that revolutionaries. Therefore, these students serve Iran better if they stay in their classes and work hard in their laboratories and publish state of the art research papers in journals such as Science and Nature. In this way, their service to nation will never be forgotten. Unfortunately, Iranian student activist have taken the easy way out: demonstration, vandalism, and disruption of classes.
What surprises me is comments on this post. On one hand, some love these politically activist students, but they hate the system these very same students helped bring to power (IRI). If IRI is worse than the Shah, then these same students may yet bring another regime which will be worse that IRI; and please do not doubt it. Because there is no limit to the mistakes Iranian student activist are capable of making.
Students wasting their precious life

They Deserve It
by Anonymous 5000 (not verified) on Fri Dec 07, 2007 08:27 AM PSTStudent movement in Iran has been a disgrace lately. They deserve to be jailed if these students are anything like Ali Afshari and Akbar Atri. Anyone who sells Iran for a Green Card (like Ali Afshari and Akbar Atri did) dose not deserve any better treatment. Afterall, it is better to be in jail than to be a good friend of Richard Pearl, like another friend of these students commonly called as Iranian Chalabi (Fakhredin). I hope IRI does not make a mistake and releasing these students anytime soon like they did to Afshari, Atri, and Fakhredin.
