Ramin Bahrani
Director Ramin Bahrani's Chop Shop has been nominated for the IFC/Acura "Someone to Watch Award" at the upcoming Film Independent's Spirit Awards of 2008 will be held on Satruday February 23rd. Bahrani gained notice in 2005 for his critically acclaimed film Man Push Cart which dealt with immigration issues and marginality in expat Diaspora communities.
