DOOR NEGAR is really an appropriate name. If we take the Farsi language as response moment. In daily speech may any group have its own name for the mashine. How about TELEX? Isn tit also an offen used for Fax?

Nama-bar is routinely used in Iran today. I have many business cards that says: Nama bar! Door Negar sounds more poetic and not justified.

That's ridiculous...everyone knows fax machine in farsi is "faks masheen", as in the sentence..."een madrak ra ba faks masheen befrest..." where did you guys come up with this nonesense?? Probably while eating a piece of kesh loghmeh (pizza) and searching on your rayaneh (computer) for chert o pert like this!!!
