Iran eyes banning oil sales to Europe

Iran's parliament will begin debating a draft bill requiring the government to immediately halt oil exports to Europe, a prominent lawmaker said Wednesday, as Tehran weighs its options following the European Union's decision to stop importing oil from the country.

[A note was left recently at a daycare in Greece. As the Guardian reported, it read: “I will not return to get Anna. I don’t have any money, I can’t bring her up. Sorry.” Signed: “Her mother.”].  There have been many similar notes to daycares from mothers/fathers in Greece.

Correct move for the IRI...if

In a Jan 5 IC blog comment this reaction was considered to be the best IRI move under certain circumstances.

This certainly would make things more interesting for EU....

Perhaps a preempt to the oil export to EU before they stock up and have time to prepare.  What does Iran has to lose if they are going to lose that market?
