Foreign looters from 44 countries have been locked up over the riots which scarred the country in August.

Robbers, vandals and thugs from as far afield as Afghanistan, Cuba, Ethiopia and Samoa joined in as shops were plundered and businesses set ablaze, causing millions of pounds worth of damage.

The sheer number from different corners of the globe who took part in the mayhem is one of the strongest indicators yet that the riots had nothing to do with political protest or civil unrest, but was born of greed and opportunist criminality.

AmirKabear jan, we all know what British (and Russia) did in Iran Vali bayad khere Qajar ha, va khanhaye bozorg (like Bakhtiars),va  mollaha gerefte mishod...all very corrupted  they sold out our land for few coins (Mossadegh the feodal included) Eshkal az ma bood  ....

Shoma yek rooz dare khoonaro (ya machineto) baz bezar o boro, age dozd nazad :) badesh hata shekayat fayde nadare !

Looking for racist answer is not a solution ! doesn't make sens

What does it say about Iran and the peoples' mentality that they accept something like IRI? Idiots deserve what they get. There are even people on this site who supported IRI after having lived abroad in the West. You can blame and blame but the stupidity comes from the Iranian people.
