Any punishment short of execution for this tyrant is a travesty of justice.  His evil soul has to suffer every day for what he did to so many innocent people.  There are quite a few other Iranians spread all over the world that certainly deserve harsh punishments for selling Iran.

For the complete list, please send $5 with a SASE to British Consular office in Tehran and address the letter to: Honorary Iranians Loyal to the British Crown.

This is funny!

Franz Kafka "the trial" funny!

Still can remember him translating for Khomeini. But then again, so did Ghotbzadeh and BaniSadr. These people never understood that you can't serve the Satan and expect him not to service you back!

Dear DK..

This time I totally disagree with you.  People like Yazdi are like tumors that need to be removed from Iran and Iranian society. Its not like he should be presumed innocent until proven guilty. We already know well what his past was.

I hope that they fry his ass. It makes me happy every time, when I see one of these bastards who had hands in engineering the islamic revolution in Iran tastes his self made medicine.

His rights should not be respected

by mullah-kosh on

Because we already know he is a criminal for taking part in the process of executing some of the best, and most honorable Iranian men and women. I hope they execute his old, opportunitic ass, and hang him by his balls from a lamp post in Evin.

DK, stay off the french wine,  that way you will stop adoring dead dictators while supporting the rights of "thugs" in Iran. you must be hallucinating brother...

if this regime does not convict him (not that it means anything, as the regime is illegal), but a new democratic and politically and religiously independent new regime in Iran, will.

Yazdi's past is a well known But his rights should be respected

by Darius Kadivar on

Yazdi's Past is of no secret except to Gullible foreign Journalists:

CLUELESS JON STEWART: "Ebrahim Yazdi Such a Lovely Man"

However There can be no nation building of any sort let alone democracy or human rights in our country if we do not agree on a set of universal principles.

Watch and Judge for yourselves:

Parisa Saed interview of Prince Reza Pahlavi on how to boost Human Rights activism in the West regarding Iran, May 1993

But the effort should be COLLECTIVE:

REZA's CALL: An Iranian Solidarnosc... by Darius KADIVAR

RESPONDING TO REZA's CALL: An Iranian Solidarnosc in the Making ... by Darius KADIVAR

The Morrocans seem to understand this:

Morocco's King Mohammed VI pledges constitutional reform

So Why Can't We ?

RESTORATION: Shapour Bakhtiar advocates Restoring the Monarchy

As for Mr. Yazdi, Rafsanjani and other founders of the regime which is brutally eating their children or reducing them to silence. It should be a lesson to all those including the Green Movement's Pre Selected Leaders that the current regime has no other goal but to reduce them to oblivion.

Those inside Iran have no other choice but to try their best to cope with the current situation without risking their lives or that of their loved ones and family members. As such Moussavi and Karroubi's Stance should be respected and they deserve all the empathy and moral support they can get.

But a long term strategy and vision is what they lack in this uneven struggle with a regime which is EVIL, FAKE, UN IRANIAN and HISTORICALLY ILLEGITIMATE to the Core:

pictory: Bakhtiar Denounces Bazargan's Provisionary Government in exile(1979) (Video Footage)

37 DAYS : A Cautionary Tale that Should Not be Forgotten (With Videos)

That is why Iranians both Inside Iran with the help of their fellow compatriots in the Diaspora aided by a genuine Intellegenstia and Human Rights activists can and must play a role in clarifying the type of support and long term strategy which should be adopted in order to reboost the Movement ( call it Green if it pleases you) but with a clear Stance as to the type of goals we can pursue and the strategy which we need to adopt in order to slay the IRI dragon once and for all and Restore Our Legitimate Rights ( much of which already existed prior to the revolution except genuine political rights) and genuine Identity which spouses the democratic and humanitarian values common to all genuine democratic nations.

As such Yazdi or anyother Iranian is entitled to the same rights and can be only held responsible for any crimes for which he can be held accountable in a fair trial.

But Revenge is definitively not something which can deliver Iran from it's ills.
