Iran launched one of its largest nationwide air defense drills on Tuesday to prepare against any possible attacks on its public or nuclear establishments, local media reported.
Aerial defense units from the army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) are taking part in the three-stage, five-day defense maneuvers dubbed "Modafean Aseman Velayat 3" (the Guardians of Islamic Skies), the local satellite Press TV said.

The problem is
by mahmoudg on Wed Nov 17, 2010 08:35 AM PSTthe "enemy" does not need to target, nor will it target these sites, (and we know exactly what these sites are) with manned aircraft. The thousands upon thousands of ballistic and short/long range missiles that will be raining down on these sites, are all "unmanned". So for one, no enemy soldier is killed, and second there is no technology or inventory available to the Islamic Rapist Republic cultists to be able to withstnd these forces. Conventional wisdom gives the IRGC and Basij one week to fold. The regular army will immediately come to the side of the victors, aka the Iranian Nation.
