Reza Pahlavi the former  crown prince of Iran and the older son of the late Shah of Iran Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, has shown his deep concern about devastating circumstances of the young Iranian dissident refugees in Greece.

Prince Reza Pahlavi has raised the issue with Greek Prime Minister Yeoryios Papandreou.

This comes after a damming report published  by Human Right Watch group, criticising Greek authority for ill treatment of Iranian refugees on hunger strike.

Twenty-five Iranian refugees have gone on hunger strike in Greece demanding that Greek authorities process their asylum applications. Some have had their mouths sewn shut.

Following is the copy of  Prince Reza Pahlavi’s letter to Greece’s Prime Minister Yeoryios Papandreou.
