Iran wants compensation for providing "the Bridge of Victory" in World War I, II

Iranian President Chief of Staff Esfandiar Rahim-Mashaei said the country pursues receiving compensation for losses and casualties inflicted on the country during the World War I and II."The issue is on the agenda following the order of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad," Rahim-Mashaei said in a seminar on Iran's compensation over the two wars on Wednesday dubbed "Iran, the Bridge of Victory."

"The issue will be followed through documentations and pursuit of national and international rights of Iranian nation," he said.

He continued, "The two wars imposed pretty heavy financial and mental losses as well as considerable number of casualties on Iran."
