Yes, Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad this week announced his plan to inspire a whole new generation of mini-Mahmouds, offering to pay couples for each new child they bring into the world and continuing to make payments until the child is 18. Efforts at population control, which Iran engaged in for decades, are “ungodly” and a Western import, he said.
